Ryokans in Kyoto?

Hey guys im looking for suggestions on good ryokans in Kyoto. ill be there for a couple days in the beginning of october , and its gonna be a group of about 8 people. im looking for somewhere preferably that prepares meals also.

Holy god man there are millions. I bought the Frommer's Japan Guide and it had a ton of great recommendations. I was going to stay in one while I was there but ended up canceling at the last minute.....can't remember the name unfortunately.
