  1. Just bought a pair of M41030X on ebay in one-wash condition :)
They seem to be made in the 90s (red tab and broken arcs) and a 1937 repro of some sorts.
Looking forward to them, and always happy to know a bit more about them if one of you got some infos!

  2. Any of you have experience with dubbleworks? Specifically the 330 model.
Looks like they're some kind of budget-line made by warehouse, to me.
Found them on rakuten and despite missing the tab, the arcs and denim are promising. From the pictures the denim looks a lot like the 2xx denim used by studio d'artisan a few years ago. If it ages like that, they'll be very beautiful and deliver quite the vintage-vibes and fades.
    Thanks :)

  3. @julian-wolf materials range from the classic 60/40 cotton/nylon mix used for workpants along the lines of dickies to lightweight denim and what-so-on, as far as I know. Been interested in a pair of the painter pants in a lightweight denim for a while, but just can't swing the price for a pair of pants that wouldn't get as much use, since they're a little out there. On Rakuten a bunch of stuff is on sale for about 80$, could be worth a try though.

  4. @PedroNaoki at Pants Shop Avenue still has the full range of models made of the 16.25oz denim:

The Black Forrest, now that’s cool and one more reason I like to visit this site so often!

Yeah its east of the rhine stretching through southwest germany. Roughly from Freiburg or Lörrach in the south up to Karlsruhe in the north. This was near one of the northern peaks called hornisgrinde as far as i remember
