40% off is a good deal. Whats up with the "New Rinse" stuff? I assume that's just like their One-Wash version of stuff. How's the sizing though because I've lots of different things.

The new rinse is basically their one-wash, but it's made in turkey. Patterns also sometimes differ, but not hugely. I've had the experience to size the same as raw to get it right

  2. All this japan levis talk got me thinking, where do I get a japanes 502 repro?
Maybe yahoo-auctions, rakuten or grailed? Been looking on ebay already the whole morning, but didn't find anything...
Basically the LVC 501Zs I got are a little to tapered for everyday-wear for me, something along the lines of a 60s cut with a zipper is basically what I imagined.
    Thanks guys

Well, I sent a message to SDA regarding the SD-102, and they responded:

     様 お問い合わせありがとうございます。 15ozルーズストレート・SD-102 上記商品の入荷についてですが、現在入荷の予定はありません。 申し訳ございません。 何卒宜しくお願い致します。 ステュディオ・ダ・ルチザン

If Google Translate is correct, that means they have no plans to restart production...

That seems to suck, the cut is great, but maybe a little wide for some.
Maybe you'll find a pair on ebay, grailed or yahoo auctions, or maybe PSA still has some?

The Valencia Street items are often a bit funkier too; the fabrics are often not standardised and there are more errors, which gives them a unique feel. I was lucky enough to visit the factory when they were producing a forerunner to LVC, namely the Capital E reissue. Although the building was quite big, the production floor was really small.

I sold my 1955 55 to pay for a guitar restoration. They were terrific jeans - if you look at the photo you can see details like, for instance, messy stitching on the watch pocket and the yoke is incorrectly assembled. I've worn a good number of 555 in,   doubt really there'd be much difference after the first couple of washes, but of course there's a magic to the fact they were sewn in the factory that produced them for the last century. It was a crime to close that building.
