Thanks @Double 0 Soul. Haven't put any time in them yet, since I'm wearing the denimba contest jeans atm, but will try to put some wear in them afterwards, if I can still fit in them.

Glad this was resurrected, very informative.
There's a deadstock pair of M41300 on Yahoo in my size that's very tempting, but the price is a bit high.
@Double 0 Soul you should post some photos of your Junky Special 1946's.Go get them! They are great jeans!

TCB
in superdenim
@BionicEye The Jeans from TCB and denimio are the same. The cotton for the denim is sourced from america, but milled in japan, so it's japanese denim.
From my point of view, TCB is better than APC, quality- and fitwise.
Talking sizing, I would suggest checking the measurements of your red clouds and samurais and comparing it to the measurements of one-wash tcbs.1 -
Welp, just ordered the go west jeans of off grailed. Will try to post pics once they arrive. They seem to be pre-2007, as they have arcs and a tab. Let's see how they'll work out and so on.

Anyone heard of go west denim? Found something interesting with a leather yoke and so on and am not sure about sizing.

^What happened that you already got a hole by the right front pocket?
Looking gorgeous already!0 -
Jacket looks tempting BF, does the denim fade fast?

Had a one-week-hiatus with the jeans, as they were in the dirty laundry, and I was busy with work and didn't find the time to wash them.
Wore my SDA mystery jeans for the time being, and threw them in the wash yesterday, finally. Here they are side by side, freshly washed.
The contest jeans are already way softer, but more crinkly than the SDAs. Anyways, quite promising fades on the way, as I think, but not much to see on the pictures.13 -

Found a pair of Yamane Deluxes for cheap on grailed, not my size, but maybe one of you guys gets lucky0 -
Yeah, thought the same. Think it also has a relation to the shape of the pocket and me cycling quite much and keeping a bunch of stuff in my wallet.

Looking great @Broark and @Bobbo.
Actually finished two batches of hot sauce and some dried chili powder this weekend. One batch is lactofermented ala noma's fermentation bible and then cooked and jarred so it keeps a little longer and made from mostly red peppers. The other one is made from mostly green peppers, since those had to get picked before they rot, come fall here in germany. All the peppers were homegrown in my grandparents yard, weirdly enough the habanero plants yielded the most peppers.
Also bonus train pic with freshly washed and dried jeans and dirty red wings.
Also got a fancy new shirt from my granddad
