  1. Lovely stuff. Great examples for what makes FW so special. I also have the Jenkins. The flannel fabric is amazing. Great weight, amazing texture, and unique cut and details.
  2. Is there a historic reference to the Lot numbering?
  3. Timeless boots, I'd say, of good quality. Great for the colder months. Can't do wrong, I think. But also what Maynard says: we all know that situation, I think.
  4. I've got some from beams+,and also kamakura and gitman. Very happy with all of them. No shirt from workers yet.
  5. There had been some question about oxford shirts. Workers has a preorder on, I think, for what looks like solid, classical oxford shirts. Supima cotton white https://www.e-workers.net/store/202402/ib2.html Chambray https://www.e-workers.net/store/202402/ib6.html There is also a Cat Day coverall: https://www.e-workers.net/store/202402/ie1.html
  6. Melton wool is a good idea. Shearling vest should also work.
  7. No mention on the site of any coating. High quality products. They also have Ventile Down Jackets. Pretty amazing. https://www.phdesigns.co.uk/ventile-down-jackets I think, traditionally ventile was not treated, but has been in recent years.
  8. Also a good idea. But I like these "nano" down vests. You can wear them under a jeans jacket, too instance. Just wondering, if some company has specialised on untreated jackets, i.e. no chemicals. Perhaps no market for that.
  9. I couldn't find a thread on chinos except for one from 2006 in supershoppers, so started this one. Watched this recently. They introduce interesting differences in chinos of the different times: Side pocket shape Button fly or zipper Button material- metal or urea Width of belt loops Side seams double or not Watch pocket Fabric- Chino cloth (LHT) or weapon (West Point/RHT) Stitching of back pockets (they call it ryotamaguchi or katatamaguchi) Silhouette Details start around 12:30
