  1. If you're talking about Talon's post (from Pinterest) on the previous page, that chap in the triple pleat? - that's from the lvc lookbook/photo shoot from the (l think) first run of that jacket (hey check my one in the Superdenim sales Thread). It's so 'aged' looking that it could pass muster.
  2. Thanks. Vi'a the upload tool. The weird thing is that the photos which are on their side are just random, no rhyme or reason.
  3. Same thing has been happening to me since the upgrade. Have no idea why
  4. Not sure why some photos are sideways when l upload them. Not my intention
  5. Interest check. Also for sale are these vintage items. Not everyone's cup of tea here maybe but give it a go. More pics available on request. Late 1960s Wrangler sz 27x30 sanforized Youth's jeans (age 8-10 roughly) - more photos and exact measurements on request. Asking £250 for the pair.
  6. For sale Lvc 1880's Triple pleated blouse in a size XL. This earliest style denim jacket repro was the first generation manufactured c.2014(?) Beautiful greenish blue hue to the denim (manufactured in Japan) which is difficult to pick up on my phone camera. This item has been gently used, having been washed once after it's initial hot soak to get all the shrinkage out. Not worn a great deal and now hardly gets any attention so it's time to move it on. Two things: Firstly l removed the patch when it was new/unwashed, but will include it in the sale (as well as the og tag) so that it can be reattached if so desired. Secondly the cinch strap (buckle side) was shortened by an inch (shown in pics) by my better half. This was done purely because the og strap was so long it was unusable (lots of discussions on DB about this issue on release as l recall) so now at least it is functional. These last two points indicate that this is a jacket/blouse to be worn, so not necessarily one for the collector. £150 plus postage/shipped to wherever you live. Measurements are as follows - Shoulders across = 50.5cm Armpit to armpit = 57cm Shoulder to cuff = 63.5cm Armpit to cuff = 49.5cm Collar seam to base (down back) = 59.5cm Waist across = 53cm Edit. Apologies for the third pic down being on its side. Al doing not mine.
  7. Many thanks chaps, having a lovely day off with the Mrs. Got my son coming over later too, so a nice bit of family time.
  8. Dr_Heech loves this post. And yes l am too very excited by the forthcoming FW 1942 model 🤩
  9. Shit, nearly forgot - Happy Birthday @Maynard Friedman who must be at least in his late fifties by now. Still doesn't look a day older than 60. Hope you're partying hard me old mucka!
  10. Love looking at old photos where you can see how differently people wore their 501's in terms of the buckle adjuster. Here we have Walter Latta, at his ranch in Bozeman Montana (1939) and his straps are hanging loose. Whereas in the previous ^^photos one cowboy has had his straps cut off and the other wears a thinner width belt to allow both belt and buckle strap done up.
  11. @beautiful_FrEaK Are Csf taking legal action against Sugarcane for copyright infringement? 😂 On a separate note, l got my 1941 csf model hemmed at Soas yesterday. Will put some pics up later in the week.
  12. Stole this from the interweb. San Francisco 1942. Guy on the left looks to be wearing a fresh out of the box Levis 213 with a pocket flap judging by the buttons. Cool photo.
  13. Include it in the price then, l can always keep the jeans and sell off any surplus 😉
  14. You'd better let me take those 'honeymoon' jeans off you then 🤣
  15. There's one guy with ' l Try' on his number plate (he's got a 100 grand beamer 2 seater) and another bought one of those Lambo 4x4's. These guys aren't young! I mean have you ever seen Victor Meldrew driving a Lambo 4x4? So sad. The worst is one guy so minted, he drives to the club in his own personal golf buggy with 'My hole' on the plate. Doesn't even bother with a car! Told his mate once if he was in that much pain that he had to advertise it, l had some Anasol for that in my bag. Not had anybody come back at me about it so l guess he sorted it. I keep my distance from these people.
  16. ^Agreed. As l often say to the minted golf fuckwits over at the posh course, a personalised number plate is no substitute for a personality 🙂
  17. Would be interested in a comparison, measurements-wise to your FW47'S when you have the time @beautiful_FrEaK [Edit] Doh! forgot your SC's are One wash and your FW's were unwashed 😊
  18. Use monopoly money. Smaller and more convenient but still has the stopping power for any rotating bi-fold nonsense, hopefully.
