This is one of the Yahoo scores I totally forgot to have bid on. And one Saturday I got the mail "you've won!". Orizzonti era sweater. On the short side but for 2,610 ¥ I won't complain 😉

Shop descriptions... 😏 "This is a thorough reproduction of the XX model manufactured by DENIME at the time of its founding. The fabric was developed jointly with Kurabo Industries based on recipes from the time. The uneven thread is ring-spun from the same rice cotton used at the time, rope-dyed with a special indigo color, and finished with vegetable dyeing to create a deep texture. A certain DENIME-like color has been reproduced." I was close to ask you guys what "rice cotton" actually is. You can find it nearly on all shops that carry Denime because they all made a simple auto translation (also for some other brands). Actually, it simply means "US cotton" and if you don't translate the whole text but the words themselves, it becomes clear.

Warehouse/Denime released the new models on their IG (https://www.instagram.com/denime1988/) WW2 (as expected) 1947 (as expected) 1954 (only knew of 50s) and jackets for all these periods. Then two 66 models, in black and ecru. The jeans and jackets look more like Warehouse than former Denime (so Warehouse jeans with a Denime patch and hardware). I'll pass. Maybe, just maybe an expection for the WW2 jacket

I knew you would answer Maybe he just doesn't want to sell his jeans to you. Could this "Failed to send" imply you are blocked?!

@tchengaa as written on the homepage, you have to contact him via Instagram for orders from overseas.

SUPERDENIM SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD (Use instead of making new threads)

I think a common recommendation is UES -
Konaka-san exaggerates more and more...I think that's one of reason Neat Style dropped CSF (some models were so crazy, you couldn't even use the coin pocket anymore)

I really like the Hayashi-san/Ivy style but yeah, somehow those look a bit off.

So, now after 2 weeks of wear I have to say I really love the SC1946 model. The fit is just right for me and the denim is awesome . The right texture and irregularities for my taste without feeling over-engineered. First it felt/looked very similar to the 1947 denim but through wearing the denim evolved a bit. I have ordered the 1943 as well but they have to wait. Still, the 42k price tag is steep and I would have preferred 32k But seeing how quickly they all sold, SugarCane did the right thing

SUPERDENIM SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD (Use instead of making new threads)

@Thor it is very unusualy to just state the back rise. Usually, if you can find a rise to be listed, it's the front rise. That said 42 cm = 16.5" sounds strange for a pair of jeans. Even for the 2001 in a W42. Do you have a link to that listing? -

Thanks for the reminder. Happy birthday @Maynard Friedman ! -
The better question would be, who doesn't? 😅 https://fullcount-online.com/shops.html

Ok, now a serious answer. I really think they cater to a different audience. All in all the Freewheelers are probably the better jeans. Cleaner construction, high quality materials, better pattern, more unique denim. The CSF really focus on the "authenticity" even if this means deliberately including failures. But (as you think as well @Dr_Heech ) using the period correct sewing machines and using the same sewing techniques is something you won't find on other jeans on this level. Price-wise the FW clearly win as you get a lot for your money and you don't pay a dick But in the end, the best jeans is the one that fits you best and which you want to put on each day and that's why I said SC 1946
