  1. Wow, that 40s orslow one looks cool. Is it available yet?
  2. Can anyone shed some light on the reasoning behind the super wide beltloops in USN 40s deck pants? I know the tcb seamen trouser has them, also know the recent release by brass Tokyo has them and I think the RMC version too. It almost looks like it could fit two belts inside the loops. Did the USN issue super thick belts or something like that? picture for reference:
  3. Jinji / Freenote T / PTC / TCB / Jim Green hidden in the grass.
  4. Belafonte denim trousers. Got them last April and wore here and there in summer with more consecutive wear as the weather cooled. The interesting thing is the rubber boots fade that’s starting to appear. It’s interesting because I’m only wearing the boots when it’s wet and muddy for dog walk, so I’d say around 30 time for a 2 hour period each time? In the past two months. It’s interesting that it left such a noticeable mark. Anyways I like it a lot. I have them a wash after I took the picture. Will maybe update after they dry up if there are major differences
  5. 60$ for the Cushman’s 80$ for viapiana. 120$ for both
  6. I agree. I would do the same.
  7. I got the seamen trousers today. I’ll wear them mostly in summer but had to try on. Our cat is already taking an interest.
  8. Patagonia/ Vermont flannel / TCB seamen trouser
  9. I'm from Israel. Summers are hot and humid and winters are relatively warm(5 to 18 C most days, rarely goes below 5), so ideal for these type of citruses. We're actually renting so I didn't planet the trees, but the fruit are amazing. Also they all ripe in different stages of winters, so there's that, and the flowers which are starting to bloon now smell amazing. I did planet some other stuff though. Sweet potatoes, beans, onions, garlic and spaghetti squash(which the wild boars have destroyed almost entirely). Where do you live?
  10. While I should be writing a masters thesis, walking in the mud is more fun. It has been raining almost non stop for the past 14 days, so when I spotted an opening I took the dog out for a walk. It was nice and muddy. @Thanks_M8 that’s really cool. We have plenty of citrus trees (2 types of orange, lemon, 2 mandarins and one red grapefruit) but no yuzu. I recently tried to translate a yuzu peel tea recipe to orange and came out horrible.
  11. For whom this may concern - seems like tcb are not going to be able to reduce package value anymore.
  12. The new season does look promising but it feels like the entire series pales in comparison to Rust…
  13. The contest leather patch was the best. I wish they’d done a shirt with the drawing they used, since mine left the jeans about 8 months into the contest, but the drawing faded long before.
  14. I have some items for sale. Prices are not including shipping fees. It should be around 25$ to almost anywhere which I’m willing to split 50/50 with buyer. If you take both shipping is on me, and we can arrange an even nicer price. Feel free to reach out with reasonable offers. Cushman black chambray trousers (salt & pepper). Pre owned but no noticeable wears or tears. There’s nothing wrong with them, I just prefer other fits. 80$ Waist(flat): 41 cm f. Rise: 30 cm Thigh: 30 hem: 25 cm inseam length: 70 cm Viapiana custom denim in black 15oz kuroki denim, pre owned, mildly faded with no tears. I can’t fit in them anymore. 100$ Waist(flat): 40 cm F. Rise: 31 cm Thigh: 30 cm Hem: 19.5 cm inseam length: 78 cm
  15. How does not feeling connected to a cultural dressing heritage fits in to that narrative? A person must like the way their people are dressing simply because they were born into it? I agree that the pseudo 90s revival that’s happening now is horrible, but I feel like that’s probably how it always is for the early generations. I bet that’s how my parents felt when early 70s fashion was semi revived in the early 00.
  16. @tg76 brewdog punk ipa is sold in the same price as any brewdog beer and it’s pretty good (for me at least. My wife doesn’t like it as much).
  17. Vermont Flannel / Buzz Rickson / Jim Green
  18. George Harrison tending to some flowers. From Pinterest.
  19. Happy new year everyone. Dallee & co cardigan/ old snoopy t / Belafonte / Jim Green
  20. Any recommendation for dark brown pants? Open to different designs. Preferably cotton and not too thick.
  21. ^ these look very cool. The wrangler aesthetics is probably my least favorite out of the top three, but the fabric here is very cool. Also the rarely seen wide cut is appealing.
  22. MF jacket (fresh off the line dry, those weird creases at the sleeves)/ Belafonte / Doek
