I very much relate and agree. I’m really trying a new thing with quoddy mocs. I’ve no idea if I’ll like the style or not (making a trial run with a 40$ pair off of eBay). I have the barefoot Jim Green boot, they’re very functional, and comfortable. But lack a lot in looks I think. -
Thank you, I appreciate the comment. Might be an unpopular opinion here but I’ve been barefoot or wearing structure - less footwear for the past 8-10 years (other than the occasional PNW or Japanese boot that looks beautiful but is plainly uncomfortable and almost always ends up injuring me somehow), so I’ve been looking for a structureless shoe that also look nice (that’s pretty rare).

They are much more tricky to wear when clean then when dirty. I’ve been wearing mine as well this summer. What did you get? -
I don’t get it either. It usually looks amazing imo. great looking pair @Sympathy-For-The-Denim! how’s the fit in you opinion? It’s the rise and thigh that I’m probably the most worried about.

Thank you! Yes, I used my wire cutters. I cut it from the inside of the jeans and then darned it with a plain needle and thread. Looks very DIY but I wear them with a belt all the time since they’re 1 waist size above my waist size, so doesn’t matter as much.

@super-thermite nice! Your patch is nicer than mine. Mine is blank. I removed the suspender buttons after two years of struggle and never looked back. They’re really nice jeans. They evolve really good imo. I think it’s about time someone opened a Moto thread. side note - I don’t think freewheelers carry anything remotely similar in width. wearing said jeans, yesterday

I have a cotton one from Dalee & co (deluxware), it’s really nice. They have multiple color options including navy, but I don’t think they have indigo.

These arrived today. Hi back trousers in salt and pepper over dyed chambray. The fabric is amazing in person. Very light, will be great for summer. The color is the most accurate in the last picture, sort of a grayish brown.
