@Ar_thor I’ve just got the traveler vest from them but it’s really nice. Extremely light, tight weave and intricately designed. I would buy more pieces but I’m a cheap bastard.

Bromelian enzymes @MJF9. It breaks down proteins. Good for tenderising cheap meats and will irritate mouth and tongue.

@mhmrzky what do think of Sagara? I mean you have a lot of different pairs so I’m guessing you like em but then you also live in Indonesia so it’s kinda easy for you to get a hold of em, right? I’m especially interested in the combatant boots. A little mini review with a some photos would be great if you had the time!

Monitaly, Orslow, LVC 44’s (from the last year of Cone) and Moonstar.
Monostar sounds good @81611. Never became a huge doom fan back in the days though. Closest I came was stoner and sludge.
Mostly listen to mellower tunes nowadays.

Oh. Sorry if my Primus sucks caused confusion. Fans of the band usually chant that at live shows. I do not think they suck. Melvin on the other hand...

I ordered a w30! @bartlebyyphonics I’ve tried the 50’s in OW size w30 and they where tight especially across the bum.

Still on the fence thinking I might have ordered the wrong size in the WW2’s. The 60’s I wore for DWC2 always felt to big and now when I’ve taken measurements of them I think they might have been mislabelled or really on the bigger side of tolerance.
My size 31 measure:
Waist 41cm
Thigh 33cm
Rise 28cm
Knee 23cm
Hem 20cm (and that’s for a 75cm leg length)
Does this look like normal measurements? Looking at TCBs size chart it looks more like a w33!

@andyrcii no idea. As I wrote above ive had them for a while and they where my sweatpants for a few years. It might have been 3-4 years before the first wash so no idea how many days. They’ve been washed pretty frequently though...

@Maynard Friedman sure is! Well spotted. I never wear suspenders anymore but I went all fancy with leather washers and all so I don’t want to remove them For sentimental reasons.

Cheers mate! They’ve been my go to summer jeans and sweatpants before that. Had them for 13 years so they could have been much more faded if I wasn’t suffering from too many jeans Syndrome.

@Hopethisoneisnttaken I like my diemme a lot. Made in Italy. I’ve got both the Garda, which is a slip on and the Iseo, which is similar to the era. Can often be found on sale and very good shoes for the money imho.

Just confirmed with ryo he'll send the hemming scraps from my jeans with them for patches
Just got the same email from the man with confirmation of the desired length and that I’ll get the cut off bits for patching!

Cheers @UkeNo and @bartlebyyphonics for the fit suggestions and not to mention @volvo240thebest for all the hard work putting it together! In it to win it for sure but I wore the TCB60’s for the last iteration of DWC in a W31 and was struggling with the fit at all times. They’re huge on me. Measured them before making the order Of the WW2 and they’re 32 and 1/4!
I've tried on the 50’s OW in 30 and they where quite snug but as I want the waist to sit over my hips I think I’m ok? Maybe my 60’s where made on the larger side of the tolerance though?
Here are my 60’s after the DWC:

Anyone else go for a size that's borderline?
According to the measurements, when compared to four pairs of my jeans: Roy's, LVC 1915 etc, I could fit a 33 or 34.
have ordered the 33 for a more streamlined look.
Bad move? It'll all work out? I'm an idiot?
(delete as applicable)Did the same thing and am feeling a bit anxious now that they’re going to be small. I’ve got a small waist and hips but a bit of a bum sticking out so that might be a problem.

Just ordered the jeans in OW size 30. Hemmed to 73cm. Checkin in from Sweden.

Does anyone know how the one wash wash jeans are handled, like at which temp they are washed and if they’re tumble or line dried or is this a trade secret?
will we get to choose raw or one wash for the comp?0 -
First off a lot of us are collectors of sorts. Secondly I still wear my first selvedge pair from 13 something years ago. I’ve got a lot of different cuts at different stages of wear to choose from when putting together a fit. Just why I have so many but then again I have a lot of all kinds of clothes, from caps to shoes...

Well, as much as I come here for the tomfoolery, at some point someone have to step up and give a factual answer. Right?
Now, all continue being amusing!
