I made the same mistake as you. Thought they where more like lvc, Resolute or Denime. Got used to the cut after a while but it wasn’t what I was looking for.

@Coolguyzack that’s pretty hard to do if you want to do it properly and thusly very expensive at a tailor. I think you’re better of buying a lightly used Barbour.

@gfarina55 without having measurements of mine I’d say the ones on the web page above are correct. I usually wear small in Japanese clothing and the fit of mine is spot on .

Dono if the Levi’s web page always been kinda crap but it sure is now. Product pictures showing something completely different (like the ‘37s), I’ve been redirected to a completely different pair of jeans when picking different washes of a denim, Calling the raw versions black on all lvc jeans. The above mentioned 1993 reissue being in the lvc line... The list goes on. They must really be struggling if they can’t even get the web page to work properly.

That’s the same pics mate, I just zoomed in a bit in the ones I posted. annoyingly lvc is still 40% off on the Swedish web page. @Paul T id also likes good closeup comparison of the fabrics. I should buy the ‘44s as I have a pair from Valencia st and one from the last Cone batch already. The sewing differences, details and measurements between two I have are big!

What are your go to chinos? Busted the whole seat open on my fave pair (beige duck canvas NN07) and need a new pair. Looking for a straight semi loose fit with a mid to high rise or something like a ghurka pant.

Dehens version has a tighter, non ribbed, knit style and looks like it comes both with and without patch pockets. Can’t find any that’s on sale though if that makes a difference.

So what’s the verdict on the new MIJ/EU lvc?

Has anyone had and washed theirs enough for a real comparison? Sale season’s a coming so I might snag up a pair....if they’re not awful that is?
