    Do we have any active forum members that live in Japan? Trying to find someone that could possibly proxy for something applicable to the unknown brands thread, unfortunately I don't think traditional proxy services will cut it. It's going to a store on a specific day, but I'm working out the details. And if successful it would likely warrant a spin off to a new standalone thread. Only person I can think of off the top of my head is @vlad_III, but please dm me if interested!

    Only thing interesting that Mitsubishi makes these days (that I'm aware of at least) is the Jimny, which isn't sold in the US unfortunately.

    Envious of you lot that can wear denim jackets in June! These spent about 8 hours in the Texas sun (chilly day here, only 91 F / ~32 C) and they're bone dry now. Starting to see a little marbling pop up. They'll go back on the legs tomorrow.

    Just reorganizing all my FW ephemera, they had largely been left disorganized but loosely grouped by sub label. Largest count of the lot are the Power Wear items (tees, sweats, etc.) followed by Union Special and Great Lakes. Didn't have the wherewithal to get a total count, but maybe one day. I did take note that my oldest item is from 2013.

    Drying in the Texas heat. Still not seeing much marbling on my pair like some others have noticed.

    Update on my pair, I think I've washed them 3 times so far and they're due for another wash here soon. Feels like these started off quickly and started to slow down a bit, but I'm enjoying them regardless. I wish the front pocket openings were a little wider, but that's my only real complaint.

    Maybe it's not actually the shape that I'm not fond of, but rather the colors they currently have available. These khaki / yellow ones don't look half bad.

    Following this conversation as well, I was interested in the LD-1000s for a bit but something about the shape threw me off too. Nice blog there, never been a big Nike guy but there's some cool models there.

    One of these days I'm going to move to a cold climate just to show y'all.

    I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it, the fabric is the same Master Shield as the Urbanite and Sasquatch jackets but it's not lined. While being 100% cotton and breathable, it's very lightweight, windproof / waterproof* (up to a point), I'd love to find out more information about how it's actually made.

    Also NACS will be the default plug configuration for EVs in the US (and North America) going forward, if the agreement stands of course. I don't like anything about Tesla but having access to their charging network makes planning longer road trips much easier. I'm hoping the R3X happens and it looks like the concept, but like ATWM said they've still gotta deliver on the R2 first.
