When it comes to denim jackets, what's the acceptable amount of buttons to do up?

Reminds me of my SC AI denim, starts off somewhat patchy, gets really patchy, but not sure if that is just...slubby. Enjoy the denim though, very unique.

Anyone got the Lightning Vintage Tees mag? Worth it?

Even with a cold soak, the patch got some fades...I wonder why it ain't adhering like I was hoping it would? (more just a troubleshooting question though)

This is good to know, I didn't want to shit on Simo! I love my 311. The only thing that comes to mind for me on initial thought, with a size 38 in mind: The pocket bags feel a tiny too shallow (fits iPhone 14 Pro just); an extra inch in length would probably be perfect Front pocket openings are a little small, at least for my hands. It's probably partly a syndrome of "new denim" stiffness—but they are only ~13oz—and my hand size; however, I don't think I have overly humungous hands. Everything else feels solid. Love the denim!

Same. Decided against machine drying because of this, so hoping they dry fairly fast in the less than ideal weather.

Loving the runoff on the pocket bags. Also, my personal favorite is squared-off pocket bags; means no awkward iPhone angling fades.

I measured mine, which is spot on to Simo's pre-soak measurements. Good job! I was hoping to hot wash and dry, but they fit tighter than I was hoping for (user holiday weight probably), so maybe just a warm wash and a hang dry for starters...

Holy! It has been stuck in NYC for a few days but suddenly I'm getting delivery today! In LA too for all those here... Question, when can we soak? Thursday, so we can officially start wearing on Friday? Or no touch until Friday?
