  1. Perfect, saved me 140 pages! To add (for more detailed history): Ooe Yofukuten is a Japanese denim and heritage clothing brand with a rich history rooted in family tradition and a passion for vintage garments. The brand is owned and operated by the husband-and-wife duo Ryo (Ryohei Ooe) and Hiro (Hiroko Ooe). The Ooe family's connection to clothing craftsmanship dates back to Ryo's grandfather, who was a tailor operating under the family name Ooe. Ryo's father continued the family's manufacturing tradition as a boxmaker. Ryo initially worked at an engineering firm but harbored a deep passion for vintage clothing. His endless search for the perfect pair of jeans eventually led him to start Ooe Yofukuten with his wife Hiro. The couple began by producing small-batch denim that they sold in vintage denim markets in Japan. Their success in these markets allowed them to expand production and open their own workshop. Ooe Yofukuten's workshop is described as a "living sewing museum," featuring an impressive collection of pre-1930s sewing machines. This unique setup allows them to create garments using techniques and equipment from the industrial era, resulting in products that are deeply rooted in historical authenticity. The brand is known for its meticulous attention to detail, period-correct designs, and exceptional quality. They produce not only jeans but also a wide range of handmade goods including jackets, bags, and accessories. Ooe Yofukuten has gained a cult following in the denim and heritage clothing community, with their products often selling out quickly due to high demand. Their commitment to craftsmanship, historical accuracy, and quality has positioned them as one of the most respected brands in the Amekaji-heritage world.
  2. Does anyone want to give me a quick rundown of Ooe? Denim used, fit/style codes, etc. Looking more for the last few years for denim/fit but a brief history lesson would be cool.
  3. I'll probably go, so we can work something out if pairs are left. I see S&S took down the page for the pair that's going up tomorrow...they looked good!
  4. My fellow WOMJ contestants inspired me to give mine a wash...
  5. I was thinking about going to that. Only $10 for the Saturday afternoon.
  6. I put those Roy RT (size 33) and Sugar Cane EDO-AI (size 34) on eBay, too.
  7. Never noticed it before since it was either not frozen or very frozen, and a lot of snow. It was cool to see and was totally screwing with my mind. I was in West Bloomfield. As my mate says, 'if you don't like the weather in Michigan, wait 5 minutes...'
  8. I was just in Michigan for two weeks. The snowdrift on the frozen lake looks like waves of the sea, very surreal.
  9. Roy RT Slim Tapered XX Experimental Denim on eBay 13oz Size 33/35 (35.00, 11.50, 17.00, 13.25, 9.25, 8.25, 35.50) --------------- Sugar Cane Anniversary Edition Edo-Ai Limited Edition on eBay 14oz Size 34/35 (35.00, 12.00, 16.50, 12.50, 9.00, 7.50, 35.00)
  10. I think it's time to get rid of a couple of pairs of jeans I can't comfortably fit into anymore. Putting out the feelers, but will take photos tomorrow and double check measurements. Edit: As promised, see below...
  11. Welcome! Really can't go wrong with a good pair of Denime.
  12. So, did everyone get a lil sneaky selvedge belt loop? Mine is front left (when wearing)...
  13. Those look dope! If I were to break my 2025 resolution too, it would be a toss up between these and the SC F&R work pants.
  14. Whitesville ever make their tees in 3XL? Mb S, on their site, makes 3XL but haven’t seen a retailer stock them. Any plans?
  15. Good choice, 220A denim is like nothing else. It reminds me of APC somewhat but with that Denime marbling. I have worn mine on hot Cali days and no hotter than a usual pair of 14oz denim.
  16. I remember joining and it was just Dior/APC/Samurai threads with new replies. Dior was "should I get the 19 or the 21?" and APC was "can I size down 3 from my already sized down 2 from tagged waist?" and I think people just started saying yes to see how tight people would go. Was kinda smart since you could pick up once-worn APC jeans for a fraction of retail. Edit: My first (circa 2009) username was "cents or non cents" but it was mapped to my Hotmail email. Forgot the password. Started up a new one in 2012, and Beatle transferred my rep to it.

  18. Decided it was a good time to wash the Denime after seeing Tony's! 220 denim is something else... Also, @vIGGiou riou, how did your IIY4 pair turn out after the 1 year mark?
  19. This is the way. I just washed mine, and it doesn't really show (the marbling) that well, but I would say 1 month of wear overall. Fast faders, but they are closer to 16oz, though.
  20. I love that this struck a chord. I was kinda half-heartedly asking. Never do the bottom button of a suit, unbutton suit if you sit down, kinda thing. But yes, random people. Never been bothered about it but made me think, is there some unspoken rule I was unaware of. I personally button all, apart from bottom. Mostly because, when riding a motorcycle, either it rides up or makes you look like the Michelin man. Top button just helps with the wind. But can't say I'd be throwing shade at someone because they only had the middle ones done up, or any combination. Apart from maybe top/bottom buttoned and the rest unbuttoned though...
  21. These were my exact thoughts, but... I started to wonder if there was a "rule" for denim jackets...I have had a handful of people in public tell me to unbutton the top and/or bottom button on a denim jacket.
