  1. I think they look awesome like they are, almost like they are charred.
  2. Are you planning on gaining weight to fit these BF? 😆
  3. Honestly, you could hit up all the stores and buy a few jeans and bring them back and sell on eBay to pay for the trip.
  4. I love the look of that hat, and you should definitely keep rocking it! I bought a Poten one, so I'm looking forward to it when it looks as good as yours!
  5. You could probably measure the waist in the picture @Geeman and double it for the inseam by the looks of it. 78cm maybe?
  6. I saw they have them, but I think I need a 38 (maybe a 36, but BEARS' OW measurements make me think 38 NW would be perfect). Anyhoo, I'm not looking at getting them right now. I was just wondering if Eternal was still alive and kicking more or less.
  7. I hit up BEARS yesterday about an Eternal 811 restock, but it seems like a no and not likely. Is Eternal still around at all? Is anyone with a new 36 811 (14.5oz) they want to part with?
  8. I emailed them yesterday, and they got back to me this morning.
  9. If there is a contest, what kind of time do we anticipate it starting at? One year duration?
  10. Congrats B_F! Not on the same scale but I picked up a new moto. Does anyone here ride as well?
  11. They definitely shouldn't be snug before pre-soak. They will shrink 2.5" for sure in waist...
  12. Awesome job! I'm interested in how you will get the buttons and rivets on there.
  13. Looking good! I just wish they ran bigger inseams for us taller folk.
  14. For some reason, I have been saying "Den-eem," but now I'm saying "Den-ime," which brings up the question, what is everyone else saying? Is it just "Denim?"
  15. Day 31/366 EOM update for the Imps...Seems like this denim is somewhat fast fading.
  16. A 458, no less, too. Between that and the GT3 RS, the two best driving cars you could ever drive. I always wondered why you Brits buy convertibles, though. Do you think that it will somehow conjure up the sun gods for you?
  17. Went for a ride today and it had rained a lot more than I thought...
  18. Hell yeah! No need to take my advice—since it's hearsay—but I was recently talking to one of the repairers at the Nudie shop in LA about wanting to make my own jeans at some point. He used to do sewing and cutting for some big brands, and he recommended not using muslin since it's a completely different material to using denim and, more specifically, heavier denim. He recommends buying some cheap 8oz denim, practicing with that, fine-tuning your pattern from that, and then start using more pricey denim once you are confident. Excited to see how you go, in fact, living vicariously through you.
