Provided WoM can make—and ship—the 25 pairs before then, which I assume is fairly doable? Personally, something in between 12–13.75oz sounds perfect to me FWIW.

I'm thinking the 311 for me. I will judge sizing when we know what denim and shrinkage to expect. 18 months for me (voted).

I'm super down for the same denim across different cuts. If another denim is chosen though, the shrinkage may differ entirely. Looking at b_F 's post-wash measurements, I'd be the next size up @ size 38. Interested in what denim Simone can get his hands on!

Figured it might be a cool to start a thread to talk about what we consider tried and tested, true grail (trying not to use that word specifically) status denim. Could be best texture, best details, best fades, you name it. Samurai and APC threads' at one point went to shit because of the constant "if I'm w31, should I get a size 23 (sized down 12 sizes)" chatter and it got real old, real quick. In saying that, I don't think companies should be handicapped because of past user transgressions. Is anyone going to enter? I registered with a pair of Studio D'Artisan SD-508. It's a full 6 months out, though. With the new Self Edge x Imperial collaboration coming out and a trip to Japan, I'm sure the pair I will be wearing will change multiple times.
