Fortunately, denim is pretty hardy; the road just reached my shoulder, so it saved me from further pain for sure. Maybe insurance can replace it since I literally just got it ha. But will probably try patch it and replace the busted button and will be a good reminder of how lucky I was.

Unfortunately, yesterday, I was involved in a hit and run on my motorcycle. They caught the person later on. I'm in okay (ish) nick considering, but do you reckon these SEXI-26-ST could be repaired, or are they too far gone? I have the SEXI26-47 that I turned into shorts, so I have basically two legs' worth of the same denim.

Denim Blunders, Reflections and General Nonsense.

For sure, different strokes for different folks. To be fair, I got 'em way before SE ever stocked them, but I agree: Your style needs to complement them. The dude above (who is too short for them, for starters) looks like he spent all his money on the shoes and forgot to purchase a bed. 😂 -
I agree. The FC is out of my comfort zone, but I've been wearing it for the last few days. I enjoy the way the soft denim drapes, which makes riding the motorcycle easier. I'm also enjoying the cropped look more than I thought. The APC is pretty rigid compared to the FC, but it is overall a more "stylish" piece.

I also never washed it, which I mentioned to the buyer. He messaged me after he received it and was super stoked! Hopefully, he kept it going.

Haha! I asked Kiya on IG and "free with purchase." Sidebar, but RO Ramones are my go-to, I have a pair for close to 8 years now, and not a single thing wrong with them. Converse on the other hand, rip through those in less than 6 months. -
I think you'll be happy with the 33, mate!

How'd you get one @Broark? -

I had to get rid of my last APC jacekt as I gained a few pounds and the size L wasn't going to cut it. Picked up this unworn closet (barn) find in XL for under $100. First time wearing it today. APC denim is so damn good.

First time on post-wash and thread cutting. I have a pretty thin sweat on, however, I am planning on wearing a lot heavier one during winter with this jacket.

Agreed, how long is that @Alec Leamas?

@beautiful_FrEaK will probably chime in, too, but I got 2.5" in the waist shrinkage. If I were you, I would get the 33. Remember..."Buy 'em big!" 😉

25 pairs at ~2.5 hours a pair, plus cutting, equals ~2 week production... -

SUPERDENIM SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD (Use instead of making new threads)
reallypeacedoff replied to minya's topic in superdenim
Probably not much help but an old friend of mine (he started Rag & Bone) used to spec mil-spec parachutes for jackets he was making, among denim for his other project too. I know he used to travel to Vernon in Los Angeles, and I have heard from others too, that's the area to source that kind of stuff (rolls of headstock japanese denim, custom made tees et al) but I have no idea where you'd start to gather that info. -
I believe the 1 in the 108 is the 15oz, the 5 in the 508 is the 12oz. SE had the SD-507...
