@CSL interesting... would be good to see that stuff if you ever had the time and inclination... one can only imagine how the SoaS stuff will be priced!

SUPERDENIM SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD (Use instead of making new threads)

Picked as much of the dirty gum off as I (wife's nails) could. The bigger issue was hot day, hot gum and big hot bum were not a good combo... pushed the gum reet into the creases. Luckily a combination of peanut butter, ice, mayonaise... no I'm jesting... Got some HG off Amazon last night, arrived, treated, jeans drying... 'before' pics below... tune in tomorrow for the 'after' pics... you will not be able to sleep due to tense anticipation -

Advice needed... just been the park in my Canes Leepros... and sat on some fcuking chewing gum!!! Arrgggh. Any proven tips for getting it off? YouTube has examples but I'd trust a Sufu-approved method first... thanks -
Makes me realise my Arizona have never been nourished... probably explains the leather splitting in places

Chiming in on the Birks chat... Meet my slippers... super comfy footwear Had these about 10 years, worn most days over that period, starting to fail but reckon there's a plenty of life in the old dogs yet I also have the Boston clogs (comfy but not the best lookers imo) and Zurich which I like a lot more

@shredwin_206 yeah... 48k Yen without tax seems to be a popular new price... the 1922 is the same. S'pose at least we can be confident it'll be quality stuff

100% with this. Of the socks I've tried, these are hands down the best. I have two boots pairs which are bulletproof and just bought two lightweight pairs - again great. -
WW2 pre- and post-wash Coming along steadily... puckering developing on the yoke and back pockets - shame I can't see it when wearing though, just can't twist my head that far

That's outrageously delightful under-arm creasing!
-
Coincidentally I just had my head in the book and seen your post Doc Jacket #01 from the book 1915 shows your point with the width of the arm opening. Some might get away with the shape when doing keyboard tapping work . Notably also, this has a single row of stitches at the arm opening and the down pocket is curved Looking at #02, the 1922 model has same wide shoulders but with a double row of stitches and a pointed down pocket. The owner even cut down the sleeves - must have had especially short arms! I've known a few fellas like that - short arms, deep pockets
-
Yeah the dimensions are in keeping with the era. Moreover, looks like this version has wider shoulders than the 27 and 33 to give even more of that drop effect. Also looks a touch shorter with even shorter sleeves, though that'll be offset by the drop shoulder. All in, a nice blouse. I like it... in fact, I'm nearly talking myself into it

They just keep coming... 506 XX 1922 jacket, 1915-1927 model... I'm sitting this one out... anyone copping?
