I haven't washed my washed version. My sense was the factory did the job and I wouldn't expect more shrink at 40C. @Duke Mantee @Broark may know more?

+ pics after a 40C wash and line dry yesterday... subtle differences... Measurement: Raw - 30C - 40C P2P: 64 - 61 - 60 (-4cm from raw) Shoulders: 59.5 - 56.5 - 56 (-3.5cm) Arm: 62 - 58 - 57.5 (-4.5cm) Length: 67 - 62 - 61.25 (-5.75cm) I'll just get on with wearing it - I suspect this denim expands quite a bit (sure Austin confirmed this)... will keep you posted

1933 jacket - one-wash version v 1922 jacket - came raw, only washed once at 30C, I will wash it again at 30C / maybe 40C... there is some shrink and a better fit coming methinks (both size 44) ... with 1937 jeans - just hemmed by Seiichiro whose service is brilliant, surpassing my retail service expectations I'm wearing a belt with the 37s... but I think I prefer them beltless... or may even give the FHUTT suspenders a whirl All the same denim - clearly all fresh and new... and needing some wear and shaping

Haha... though imo there are only winners in a denim jacket 'competition'!! I like them both faded and unfaded! The 30s denim is very nice unfaded - it has a rich blue hue

It's a good jacket. I picked one up recently too. Will get some pics up eventually

What's your oldest pair of denim that you've not worn?!

I had to reread the words in bold -
SoaS are putting the Lee on sale on 21st September

I can indeed say the new 1922 jacket is using the 30s denim

@chicote BOOM!
-
@rodeo bill lovely... I'm looking forward to seeing them continue to develop

Mine are on the way back from being hemmed... Seiichiro twisted my arm with the promise of the right thread and right hemming!! It'd have been rude not to ask him to put a Powerwear henley in there with them
-
@Broark developing nicely... lovely denim. I'll be able to start wearing my 30s tux soon
-
@CSL interesting... would be good to see that stuff if you ever had the time and inclination... one can only imagine how the SoaS stuff will be priced!

Picked as much of the dirty gum off as I (wife's nails) could. The bigger issue was hot day, hot gum and big hot bum were not a good combo... pushed the gum reet into the creases. Luckily a combination of peanut butter, ice, mayonaise... no I'm jesting... Got some HG off Amazon last night, arrived, treated, jeans drying... 'before' pics below... tune in tomorrow for the 'after' pics... you will not be able to sleep due to tense anticipation -

Advice needed... just been the park in my Canes Leepros... and sat on some fcuking chewing gum!!! Arrgggh. Any proven tips for getting it off? YouTube has examples but I'd trust a Sufu-approved method first... thanks -
Makes me realise my Arizona have never been nourished... probably explains the leather splitting in places

Chiming in on the Birks chat... Meet my slippers... super comfy footwear Had these about 10 years, worn most days over that period, starting to fail but reckon there's a plenty of life in the old dogs yet I also have the Boston clogs (comfy but not the best lookers imo) and Zurich which I like a lot more
