  1. Good spot @Broark, I like them and was interested in them a few years back but not at that price.
  2. I didn’t know you still wore them Neal but I think they’d look better if you pulled them up a bit
  3. Increased competition in the denim industry has led to tough times for some of the established players. In a bid to increase and diversify income streams, we’ve seen some unexpected collaborations.
  4. Nice jeans and calico cat (very similar markings to mine) @scooby
  5. Neal, if I were a gambling man, I’d say you’re more likely to buy another pair of 47s!
  6. The A or N suffix will be on an internal tag (in the pocket I think) rather than the patch.
  7. I wrote that on the train on my way back from my bi-monthly (that’s once every 2 months, not twice a month) trip to the pub, so not the most clear-headed commentary!
  8. Denim looks streaky af - like those old Eternals, can’t remember the model. Like denim flames! 🔥 In conclusion, I don’t think they’re legit.
  9. @malik if you can find Momotaro 0901s in a 36, they may fit the bill. Wide thigh, long inseam and NOT sanforized. I had a pair in size 32 and have big thighs and can recommend them.
  10. Don’t go all in at the beginning, buy 2 and see how they are. My replacement t-shirt offer still holds!
  11. We all know you’re a nerd about anything you like enough - denim, bikes, wood, bathrooms, tents, anything Sheffield related (😴), turmeric (FFS!) - it’s in your DNA, so stop pretending and give ‘em a try. If they’re not hardwearing enough, I’ll send you my ‘Neasden Polytechnic’ t-shirt that you can wear for work 😆
  12. Excellent Duke. As an electro-dance style track, I always preferred this (12” version) to Blue Monday
  13. Just checking… I have Fila, Sergio Tacchini and Ellesse and I can throw in some Diadora Borg Elites for good measure.
  14. Neal, you don’t have to immerse yourself in all that coffee snobbery. We buy bags of coffee beans (Caffè Borbonne Miscela Blu) from a local Italian deli, grind them in a Magic Bullet and use a Bialetti stove top. We gently heat organic full fat milk from the farmers market in a saucepan and pour it into a bog standard glass cafetière and froth it by holding the lid and gently pumping the plunger up and down (a friend who worked in catering showed us this trick). Once done, give the milk a tap and swirl in the cafetière and pour gently into your coffee. You can vary the amount of coffee and milk if you prefer latte, cappuccino, etc. For a quick fix, I’ll just have a coffee bag (loads of options around now) and either drink it black or add a splash of cold milk. EDIT: we always use water that has passed through our Berkey filter.
  15. I see it more as more of a battle than a mere contest. #WomBat
  16. That’s one of the others, there are multiple, it’s a family tradition.
  17. Voice-of-Reason is my middle name. The upside of all the above is that many of the Denimbro crowd migrated back/over to Sufu and here we all are again, a big happy denim family!
