@Jared_Lee what's the file size of your pictures? (Although this shouldn't be a problem when you link them from another host) -
The Yamane Industries jeans do look nice and are somehow closer to old Evisu but god, those ugly rivets he is using...😅
-
@yung_flynn they are waiting patiently in the queue. I've worn them a few times - imo they are excellent jeans and, agreed, relatively simple. The denim is coarse and full of character. Fit-wise very spacious, in a good way. I'm glad I bought them.
-
? Maybe I dont understand you but the majority has flat back pocket rivets. Otherwise they would eat through the denim in no time

@MJF9 Have you put much wear into your s3100VX’s? If so how do you like them so far? I’ve been tempted by them and the s2000HX since seeing your original post but have waffled back and forth about following through. Something about the relative simplicity of those two models compared to some of their other more recent offerings caught my eye (plus not that many pairs with >34” inseam). I probably would have followed through if they didn’t seem to have flat back pocket rivets.

Not an ideal solution but for right now you could email to a moderator to post on your behalf?

Just installed and tried with Microsoft Edge and got the exact same results. -
Yes. Could be that. Not directly related but I had to switch from Safari to Chrome for FB video calls. No idea why it didn't work with Safari.

@ATWM, they're definitely jpegs. Just double checked. I take photos on a Pixel 6a. I've never had trouble before these past few weeks. @CSL, I don't use any web privacy stuff (though I know I should). I also thought perhaps it was a browser setting issue, but it's happening on both my computer and phone. I guess I could try a non-Google browser -
Right. Exporting out of the Photos app renders a jpeg image which works here.
-
^^^Could it be some kind of network related 'blocker'? A VPN or something like that?
-
this might be a dumb question or something you've already considered, but are your files the right format? JPG? If you're shooting with an iPhone sometimes you can make .heic (the live captures) that get cranky with different applications, but that can be turned off easily.

So my workaround to get the last image to post was to create a link in my Google photos and use the web link upload rather than the direct upload. Now that's giving me a red error as well. At this point, I am no longer able to upload any photos at all to the forum either from my phone or from my computer. That's going to make continuing my updates and participation difficult. Bizarre that this is only happening to me, but it's not isolated to just my computer or just my phone. -
@Cold Summer, that's a pretty accurate summary as my memory serves. I also respect that they have stayed with what they always were. I prefer a brand that weathers the storm of falling out of trend and stays true to its intention. If you can survive, the trend will always swing back around.

At the end of the day, it's about style. These jeans have a very deliberate style and if it isn't what you're looking for, it isn't gonna work. Many jeans intentionally try to be completely non-descript (WH1001, SD101, SC47, etc.) and that makes them blend easily into simple, generic outfits (not meat as a pejorative, but perhaps a little shade thrown). The 0105 is aggressively anti-fit and requires you to lean into that for it to work. In the 13.7, you may be able to finesse the sizing to avoid that, but on the SS it just is what it is. I love them both and I have the SS tux. Every time I wash my WoM and I put on my SS pair, I miss it. The big ol' saggy butt and easy fit feels so good and is easy for me to work into a tucked shirt, lower on the waist paired with loafers easy day outfit. I also wore my 13.7s last week while doing some motorcycle maintenance. Damn, still my all time favorite pair of jeans. Hands down.

^^^Last week I put in orders for 'big want' items from Europe and Japan, hoping to get them before the tariffs kick in. One item arrived already. Hoping the rest are well on the way and ahead of this suspension. I'm not overly put off at the prospect of a 10-15% tariff which I think applies to much of Europe and Japan. Not sure how the Chinese brands will fare. There appear to be a couple of layers of tariffs for that country.

Buzz, Bronson (dyed), Anonymous-ism, Adidas. It's been forever since I've had a pair of 'normal' sneakers/trainers. Fancied a change... I'm glad I actually went to the mall and tried them on. Apparently one needs to size up 1 and a half from their regular shoe size.

I’ve heard the Whitesville tees shrink a lot — a full size. Keep us posted.

Here' more to chew on b_F -- a quote from redcastheritage: Moonstar sizes run slightly large. If you are between sizes or do not plan to wear them with thick socks, we recommend sizing down one size. Moonstar sizes are similar to Converse Chucks.
