@Broark Seiichiro and TheRising/Mirrorball seem to be the shops, that offer most FW denim in N/W, right?

All the stores would be committed to a balance of stock, then depending on interest would add further n/w or o/w as they would judge worthwhile. As @broark mentions you can only buy what’s available.

I’ve noticed a strange approach during this upsurge of interest in FW denim in that folk believe they can simply buy any model they might have seen. That might work for 47 or 51 model jeans since FW see them as permanent designs, but most of the rest will only be offered in the season of the year of production … and FW production runs are not on the same scale as most of the other manufacturers (Warehouse etc). Basically you are relying on luck a lot of the time if it’s something from more than a season or two back.

Ha!.. i didn't know it was English till i opened it, (i didn't look) i've had some ¥¥¥s in my proxy wallet from past Mercari purchase cash-back and a few bits and bobs stored that i couldn't justify the shipping costs for.. needed a slim belt, looked on Yahoo.. din't find owt, looked at Junky and that was exactly what i was looking for.. measured the size and the cash-back almost paid for it B)

I haven't worn a belt for nearly 15yrs, I think the last one i bought was a SC Garrison sometime around 2006.

Well as you say it’s cost you next to nothing - it’s good leather, be the last belt you’ll ever need given how little you wear them

  3. I made this for Greg at Field Leathers - he’s just down the road from me and makes some lovely leather jackets. Have a look https://fieldleathers.com

Many thanks to @Duke Mantee for my new belt. Working on a remodel and I've been in desperate need of a quality belt to help keep things up

I might add, a broken-in pair of Freewheelers and a belt of Duke's go together like peas and carrots.

Do not hesitate to give him your business!

Looks a fair match to the denim - thank you for that mate!

Fyi, myself and Maynard (or Mayns, as he likes to be called) have shared a few beers in the non-virtual world of London some 10 years ago, l believe.  @Maynard Friedman help me out mate, memory is shoddy at best :D

Honestly, we are mates on Facebook, lnstagram, denimbro and here...

    honestly

Must’ve been a lot of beers if you thought you were seeing ‘Mayns’

I politely asked them at Desolation Row about the interesting shape change from XL —> XXL.
they told me it’s on purpose and supposedly fits the Japanese body type.
I’ve lived in Japan for 16 years and I can say I’ve never met anyone that would fit in a T-shirt like that.
    It really is bizarre…

Haven't been posting much lately, busy focusing on moving in a couple weeks time.
Excited to have a backyard for the pup and some better lighting for fit / fade pics!
So far I've filled up two boxes worth of jeans / trousers alone...

Good luck with the move and well done on finding an 18 wheeler for your clothes

edit to add - I absolutely fucking love this buckle for reasons I don’t even understand except it is very cool

  9. And an unadorned belt made from Walpier Buttero Rocky in their foresta colour matched with a solid sand cast brass buckle and brass rivets for @kenneth_blake_esq on IG

  10. The boots are great value - not much by way of top class material or construction (ie no boot snobs) but for 100 quid they’re hard to beat. Their bovver boy boots have doled out many a kicking and they last despite the abuse …

  11. A tiny 23” waist belt … but we still managed to get overlays and old timey hi-dome jewels set on nickel plated steel hardware all crammed onto some latigo leather
