Agree with @Cold Summer. The 3009 I had awhile back was tighter at the waist than the 3005 in the same tag size. Pocket openings were a touch smaller on the 3009 and the thighs a touch bigger. 

I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume all of the arcs and styling are exageratted to better differentiate between the years and models. 

@mlwdp I see now missed that completely. 

I hot washed and hot dried mine looking for shrink, not much happened.

Is anyone here familiar with how the natural indigo blend denim shrinks?

I wanted to hem my 3005-AI before their first soak/wash, but wasn't sure if I should expect typical 3 inch inseam loss, or less than the Pioneer denim. I am assuming less than the standard denim but don't really know.

Wish I paid more attention to them changing the styles completely and got a pair.

@Thanks_M8 if you were looking at the 3001 or 3009 I would suggest thinking about sizing up. The top block on the 3001 and 3009 fits feels more restrictive than the 3005 in the same size for me. Also, the 3009 actually measured under tag size for me when raw vs the 3005 which measured at 34 or so before a wash.

On my 3005 I wear my normal size of 34. The waist will stretch back to raw, but can take a little while to do so. All personal preference really. 

As a smoker I rarely get to use breast pockets for smokes.

Only a small handful of brands offer soft packs, and their commonly old or dry as not many people buy them. A hard pack in a breast pocket sucks.

A pet peeve of mine is tonal stitching on denim. Can't explain why I don't like it, but it's a deal breaker for me.

I cleared my cache etc. and still had trouble with an upload. So I resized it smaller and then it went just fine.

What was weird for me was that it was under 7MB to begin with though.

Seems Sugar Cane has some American made jeans coming out. Available in a Type II as well. I am assuming it is not Cone denim though. Feel like they would advertise that if it were.

I don't have the pocket tee but do have the standard crew neck.

They are nice and a little on the thicker side, but nothing crazy by any means. I sized up two from my typical US sizing but wish I only sized up by one instead.

@Radiohead89 my first pair was Naked and Famous years ago, shortly after that I got a pair of the 5109 and it was such an experience. I was blown away at that fabric in person and the fade examples. I remember getting them in the mail and the excitement I felt soaking them. This was in 2015. 

I didn't even look at other jeans for over a year, I liked them so much (and still do, though they are a touch tight in the thigh now though). Only have needed minor repairs, but I don't wear them often now. It's a pair I could probably never get rid of and will always have. 

Agree completely on a 3009 type of fit, with the grey or white weft fabric  (think 1105, 5105 for example).

Have you tried their sweatshirts by chance? Another great staple.

@radfad2000 I have that for a size 34, if that would help you at all I can post some later just let me know. 

@Bobbo how were the front pocket openings on your pair?

This seems like a smart fit. I am debating on sizing up two, instead of one. 

Are the most recent measurements one wash on the site?

Mine is similar to that but steel. Fantastic watches. I forget I'm wearing it most of the time.
