@julian-wolf any updates on those S2004?

@oomslokop that outfit you posted is hard as fuck. Really well done.
Has me wondering if I could pull off the white 710 during summer months and if I would wear them often enough.

Who makes an authentic, relatively affordable (and available in Europe or via mail) Type 2 besides TCB? It's on my target list for this year, but don't really want to pay more than 250 euros and hopefully less? TIA...could always go used, of course.
Sugar Cane.
Pants Shop Ave and Self Edge carry raw versions. One wash easily available on Rakuten.

Jeez, just based on the top block in that photo the cut looks like it’s gonna be terrible. Better something than nothing, all things considered, but still sad to see them going this route for jeans with as much history / lore as their natural-dyed line of 15 years ago.
Genuinely curious how you can make the assumption of the fit from those limited photos.
I'm not seeing much of anything besides some details from those lol.

I think the fit will settle down quite a bit and look really good @andyrcii. Wouldn't worry about any hip flare.

@mlwdp I think I remember seeing an Instagram post about a sale and some wording about going out of business. I completely forgot to ever check up on it.

Cardigans are awesome. They dress up a casual outfit with little to no extra effort while seeming casual. And their so warm and cozy to wear if they are wool.

Would you say it’s worth getting? I just don’t feel like paying in excess of $200 for a short sleeve sweatshirt. I’m not expecting the same quality as my Real McCoy’s hoodie.
I like it yeah. If you have been wanting one I recommend it.

I have a short sleeve one. It is nice, not like a Strike Gold or Stevenson nice, but still nice.
The arms on the short sleeve aren't baggy, which really helps the fit.

I have been leaning towards one wash unsanforized stuff myself. Like Sugar Cane or Resolute for example.
I just like how their much softer starting out.

Looks like Tsubo takes the bare ankle look all the way, even into winter.

@mpukas 3005 is slimmer in the thigh if I remember right (it has been awhile since I have had the 3009).
Self Edge measurements show this as well. The 3005 doesn't feel as slim in the thigh as the measurements may make it appear, though.

MFSC has made a number that would fit your bill I suspect: https://www.misterfreedom.com/mister-freedom-jackets.html#jackets_sport
Why did you have to post this....
Now I want one to go with my Resolute 710.

I want to get a Type 3 denim jacket, and have narrowed it down to a couple options.
Vintage Flat Head Type 3, in good shape (leaning towards this one).

https://www.selfedge.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2087 The pockets on this one seem like a good idea.

@Max Power makes sense. I have seen it before when I take the time to measure a pair after a wash and measure again after some wear.
A .25 inch inseam shrinkage (after stretching again with wear) on a one wash pair doesn't seem like much to worry about at all, the more I think about it.

@beautiful_FrEaK can't go wrong with much in that look book in my opinion.
Maybe I should wash mine tonight if people are noticing slight inseam shrinkage. I will be using the dryer on them at some point.
Another observation I am curious if anyone else notices, do you guys ever notice your inseam stretches slightly with normal wear by about .4-.5 inches? I have measured pairs right after a wash, then after wearing a little while, and have noticed this before.

I like the shoulders on the WR. Fits so much better than many other shirts for me and is very comfortable. At least with the WR the overall length and sleeves weren't over two inches too long. Hopefully they get rid of the "wide spread" collar.
I have a feeling FH 2.0 may be a lot of pre-washed faded offerings though.

I wish they would bring back some of the classic stuff. Native motif varsity jackets, cool belts and WR sizing. The WR size is good and you don't run into the overly long length and weird sleeves and get a nice short fit in sizes 42-44 for instance.
Make a normal Type 2 or 3 jacket and I would get one in an instant (no weird looking front pockets and buttons). Pretty sure I've been on Self Edge's restock notice for the 6002W for like 2.5 years now.

Those fit you well!
Did you get much noticeable shrinkage with the dryer?

Trying to decide between Strike Gold 5105, or Strike Gold denim jacket.
I can fit in my worn 5109's again and forgot how awesome the denim is on it.

Yeah that is a bummer. The color on them looks very nice.
A 33 may be a bit small for me waist wise after shrinking, but I will certainly take a look once you post them.
