  1. Great post Neal, it’s always interesting to hear people’s selvedge denim origin stories and also to see your raw SC collection posted in all its glory. I’ll remain on the lookout for you 👀
  2. @paulm those Studio D’artisan’s look like the SD-101 to me, or possibly even the SD-102.
  3. The cinch is very low on that pair, almost like Lee 101B.
  4. @Newman - they’re the Duckdigger DD108 - the same as the original Warehouse Warren DD108 (I wore one pair to threads years ago and have another pair squirrelled away). They’re a late 40s cut I believe and made with an oxidised 1000XX denim of about 14-14.5oz that’s supposed to give them some kind of unique, authentic ageing (I don’t think it does). They’re from around 2007 and Warehouse produced them after the Levi’s lawsuit when they started to move away from strict repros with red tabs and Levi’s style arcs (yours have the lasso loops) and before they moved back in that direction again. I hope that’s useful, you can find a bit more information in this thread or via a Google search and also some old Lighting magazines. They’re great jeans, well done on the (re)discovery!
  5. Hard wearing boots for hardware. Give ‘em a good stomping as you walk!
  6. Nice boots Neal, why don’t you wear them anymore?
  7. My older style Full Counts are all W31 L34, none have or had a 32L.
  8. Hi @paulm it’s great to see some of your old (new vintage?) repros here and on some other threads. Have you actually had some of these jeans since they came out in the 90s/00s or are they more recent acquisitions (or a bit of both)?
  9. Is this a synergistic gain or just synergistic cobblers?
  10. I’m surprised they made denim as heavy as 18oz (especially on a 30s cut) back in 1995. I thought heavier weight denim was a more recent, 21st century phenomenon.
  11. This has become the Full Count Denim Thread Thread.
  12. I’d like to see a few extra rivets dotted around in places they shouldn’t be - and maybe an additional pocket randomly located. Those amateur wartime seamstresses! 😡
  13. Looks like someone has thrown a plate of spaghetti at the model!
  14. I mean ‘Made In California’ or ‘Made in USA’. Perhaps I was confusing it with the ‘SC California’ range as I remember @Double 0 Soul (I think) mentioning a body warmer he bought that had a California label and was made in China, like you just mentioned.
  15. Are the Sugar Cane ‘Made in California’ items a cheaper diffusion range? Does anyone know anything about them or have any experience of them?
  16. Probably woke up thinking you tried them on and pi55ed yourself in them before passing out.
  17. I’m not sure how old my US-made pair with arcs are but there’s quite a difference in price between them and the new ones.
  18. Just arrived, deadstock one-wash condition. Pictures aren’t great due to poor light.
  19. Oh yes, the potholes too… To make matters worse, many of the Victorian and Edwardian houses have been converted into flats and some of those flats have 2 cars. So outside a house that has space for a single car to park, you may now have 4 cars competing for that space! Modern life certainly has its unique headaches!
