  2. ^ The link is showing a denim jacket for me.
  3. Nice one Doc, I bought a navy Schott CWU in the late 90s and donated it to charity when I last moved home in 2008 as I hadn’t worn it in a while. It was definitely warmer than the US made Alpha MA-1s I had in the late 80s/early 90s. Wish I’d kept it…
  4. Better buy them quickly @Alec Leamas, now your cover is blown!
  5. +10 I’ll add buying via a proxy or using Google translate to write an email in Japanese to a shop
  6. Warp and Weft thread here. Does anyone know of a working link to stream the film (not just the trailers)?
  7. Attended a Self Edge/Iron Heart/Rivet & Hide/etc meet up?
  8. I had the original Internationalist in 1984, before they put that plastic thing around the bottom of the heel cup. I also had some Air Pegasus mk II in around 1988 in silver/grey with a teal swoosh iirc.
  9. Those white jackets have old school ice cream man vibes to me. “I’ll have a 99 please Mr Whippy”!
  10. They look great @Alec Leamas, now get a seam ripper and carefully unpick the tab stitching to reveal the GENUS beneath. I love the donut buttons too.
  11. I was just wondering how many fly buttons I should do up on my jeans. Any suggestions?
  12. Great story. But…. do they fit?
  13. ^ Perhaps you’re just trying to justify spending half a thousand pounds on a pair of desert boots! 😆 Seems bonkers to me but it’s not my money.
  14. I think the main difference between UK and SE Asian made will be in the uppers rather than the soles.
  15. I bought some Astorflex desert boots (made in Italy) 10 years ago and they’re still going strong. I didn’t want Clark’s as they’re all made in SE Asia these days, apart from the limited Made in England line (in Leeds I believe) which are quite a bit pricier.
  16. If we’re accepting half answers, then (14) looks like it could be Roots Manuva but I’ve no idea what the album could be called.
  17. Thank you kind sir! 15 looks like it should be a United Future Organisation but I have 5 of them (which I think is the lot) and it isn’t any of them…
  18. 8. The Steve Miller Band (helped by Google without an image search though!).
