  1. Maybe obvious but: 1. Denime XX denim (although it can be quite thick/hot in summer) After the DenimJunkie jeans, a pair of Denime 66XX was the first Japanese jeans for me and ever since I found the fades of the XX remarkable and unique. From the raw look it is not to different to SDA's 1xx denim but id definitely fades differently. 2. the old Warehouse 14.5oz denim (Memphis cotton, right?!) The old Sufu WH660 contest brought up a plethora of truly perfectly faded pairs with this denim and for me it's maybe WH's best denim 3. Full Count 13.7oz denim Praised by many for the comfy denim, it has the right amount of irregularities and the softer fades are a great match to the easy wear. 4. Denime 10th anniversary (1952) and Resolute 710 and Resolute 711 All 3 of them are great in their way. The 10th anniversary might be my secret favourite denim ever. The 710 looks so great when faded and the 711 looks so great when not faded
  2. They look indeed great! If someone is looking for worn in jeans, Denime is a good brand as there is quite a big stock available on Yahoo ir Mercari.
  3. Looked up the old chat. Jeans will retail for 42,000 and jackets for 52,000. Don't know if this is with our without tax but if I would have to guess, without.
  4. Nah, the majority I used to hang. I just wanted to have less pairs hanging to be readily available and now stored more pairs away folded..."for later"
  5. Seen those as well and thought they would be from Japan...the "Pizza" red tab 😅
  6. @superfuture somehow the "Denim Blunders" thread is always marked as read for me. All other threads are fine though.
  7. Decided to re-arrange my rotation and to store some precious items in a different way. Hey, if Denime does it like this anyway why not? Also it uses less space this way.
  8. I nominate @Broark and @Maynard Friedman Always around and good guys
  9. I don't think (m)any Conner's jeans have left Japan in recent months/years and especially those 66 or BigE (first time I see it) are even rarer. I don't think anyone here owns a pair of those.
  10. Crazy warm October over here
  11. So I have this broken thread on the inside (orange) but on the outside only the yellow thread is visible. Do I need to repair the orange thread and if so, how?!
  12. so given the Zabou article, this claim is wrong. (question about the source of cotton for Resolute)
  13. Orizzonti-era XX pair. Both @JohnM and me had our takes on a deadstock pair but either the seller didn't want to sell to a proxy service or someone else was quicker...
  14. I haven't washed my pair yet. I have the L34 and they measure 32.3" right now. I expect them to shrink at least 0.5" more.
  15. If you need more room in the 710 and still like a tapered silhouette, the 714 is a good choice IMO. It has more room up top (even a tad higher rise than the 710, at least in the front) and still has a subtle taper to look more fitted than the 711.
  16. I was thinking the exact same thing... Should have just split it. Still enjoying the Lot.220?
  17. You should have bought the double pack recently
  18. A (still) rather cheap pair of Denime 10th 1937. Sure, they are worn but good condition. https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/japan/en/auction/yahoo/input/f1094251166/
  19. Also here is some construction info about Denime's XX pair. The part of the crotch construction is interesting since I always thought my Orizzonti-era XX are just shoddy sewn. But it was done on puprose in that area to strengthen it.
  20. No my 220 don't have a very pronounced button fly fade. This is surely affected by the shape of the buttons and probably the tightness of the hip/crotch/fly area. My 220 are looser in this area than my 710 for example.
  21. Denime - H&M - Duke - Denime - Veja
  22. Shins Type2 with Lot.220. Given how quick and easy this denim fades, should I be embarrassed to have no combs?!
