  1. FYI, suspicious J32 on Grailed. Text in the label looks a little bold, and the positioning of the sizes is off.

IGNORE ME - Hasty to react, and didn’t realise that authentic pieces had misaligned size tags. I've seen so many fakes crop up lately that I've been a bit overzealous in calling them out.

    Apologies to the Seller.

  2. Looking forward to hearing reviews once in hand. It's probably just the lighting in the product shots - or "that new ACRONYM® smell" -  but the GT appears softer than usual, almost like a Stotz.

Also, I have to say I'm really loving the new collar. A small change that's made 2.2 truly distinct vis-a-vis its predecessors.

Not sure if I prefer it to the older version, but - love it.

New fake P24A-DS spotted please beware:

Is it just me, or are the fakes getting better?

This one certainly seems a lot easier to mistake for authentic, esp. when compared to the trash that has surfaced on eBay.

  4. They also have the pricing the wrong way around...

Strange, as I half remember that they previously had a different model wearing them correctly.

the jacket is 399GBP, new with tag and the seller has multiple sizes. the listing is SCREAMING fake. anyone who is stupid enough to purchase that jacket thinking it's real frankly deserves to be separated from their money. While I definitely don't condone fakes, it's one thing to try to pass some fake as the real thing (including selling at ACR price), it's another when it's painfully obvious you're not getting the real thing.

    Hahhaha, well said!

We had a cold snap in Seattle recently. I can say under 40F static warmth is not adequate under a shell. If you’re active quite a bit it’ll be fine since polartec alpha is meant for activity insulation. Also, most alpha insulated garments are made with wind permeable faces so keep that in mind.

    Very useful info, thanks mate.

It is. I had both colors in hand and kept the white one. It's really cool. I use the jacket as midlayer more or less nonstop since November. Works totally good for me and I am very happy with the light, easy to wear and warm but not too warm jacket. Not sure if the jacket will work for longer time in the cold but for the winter in Munich as mid it was sufficient. I took the Large size because M was very tight and I like the loose look which Lenny had on the pics. Normally I take Medium for all of my acronym tops.

Oh I have to get it now...

    Normal wear, did nothing crazy.

Like a tiny little piece of silk came out from the outer fabric (?), not sure is that a appropriate explanation since I can't speak English properly (sad)...

Speaking about the fabric, it feels like silk in hand but definitely more durable. XPAC is way way more durable than this.

Ah, gotcha... I thought that was dirt on my screen!

Thanks for the info... I'm thinking I might need to pick one up to see. The white looks incredible.

I have no idea I only have a J47TS-GT in hand which the logo on the right, it really confuse me...

How about the J1A showing above? What do you thing in terms of authenticity?

Don't worry about the position of the logo, both versions are used.

The J1A looks authentic to me... certainly all the obvious signs (labels, zippers, micro-grid, colouration) look good. But better to ask someone who owns one. Something looks a little odd on the spec sheet, but I'm probably mistaken.

  10. Thanks @Kamikaze, @Xu Jianfeng, @CARLOOA and @X.bee for the feedback, much appreciated.

Very interested in trying out the J74... It seems that both of you are quite positive about the fabric. Am I right in understanding that it's much more durable than it looks, or is it the new XPAC foil?

Re the P23A's... I echo your sentiments for slip ons and boots, although the latter, as Xu pointed out, can be a little over the top. But then again, "over the top" is pretty much the P23A in a nutshell.

Quick question about logo tape, some of them have logo on the left, any body know why?

Here is a picture from my friend

The position of the logo varies, eg. the the right on J46U, to the left on J69.

The quality of the bottom label looks a little sus though... looks very messy/cheap in comparison to mine and the one at the top.

  12. What is the general feedback on the PX? How warm is the fabric, is it worth the price tag, and is it as fragile as it looks?

Also, what shoes are P23A-S owners pairing with? I have a pair in black, love the fit, but always find myself doubting my choice of shoe when I wear them.
