@Dr_Heech I tried checking at some of the usual suspects and most shops appear to be sold out for the year, Warehouse sweats seem to sell pretty quickly these days.
But if you're looking for oatmeal or heather grey they have size 42 available direct from Warehouse: https://www.ware-house.co.jp/?pid=144685631
Just click the overseas shipping button, fill out the color / size and contact information on the form and they'll send you a PayPal invoice. Very straightforward, no hassle.2 -
Do they come with a personal landscaper that'll trim them for you? Yeesh.

Love the way the Freewheelers hardware ages, I noticed my '37 back pocket rivets are starting to hit that pink stage.

What is that thing?
I could be wrong about this, but I think the inspiration is from one of the FW head honchos Kendo Maruyama, as he seems to be very into collectible figurines.
They've been listed as "advertisement figurines", so think of it kind of like a pair of those massive vintage Levi's that retailers used to hang in their shops as displays.
You can check his Instagram here and see some of his collectibles: https://www.instagram.com/kendomaruyama/
Also the figurines are much larger than I originally thought, the product photos don't really give them a proper sense of scale.8 -
I have similar feelings towards wabash, I feel like it's a little difficult for me to wear for some reason.
I like the look of the Ironalls wabash shirt after it's been worn a bit, but mine hasn't seen much frequent wear. Might try to incorporate it into the rotation more frequently.
And the figurines are funny, I'm a FW fan but not that much of a fan. They're not cheap!2 -
Maybe Sushi will buy it off you.
Glad to hear all is well and that's a rational call.
Doubtful but if you've got anything my size just holler.1 -
Nice score @LazyS, fits you well. The pockets remind me of this.

Fortunately for my wallet I don't think we're the same size. Unless you've got some larger stuff hidden away.
I guess now's my chance to have the largest FW collection outside of Japan.
In all seriousness though, hope everything is going alright Duke.0 -
Beberjin has been posting some pretty amazing stuff this week, it's hard to keep track of it all. Nice find there doc.
I can only imagine the prices for some of this stuff.2 -

The pattern changed after this
How so? I only tried this one on briefly yesterday, but it felt a little shorter / wider in the body than the two others I have.

I was pretty close to to tapping out on this one actually.

Another Yahoo auctions find, deadstock Hammersmith from ~2014.
Really nice texture on this flannel!
Excuse the fold creases, just opened up the package.18 -
I love the heavyweight fabric, some of the nicest sweatshirt material I've handled.
I have a couple more of them headed my way soon.2 -
For you slightly smaller-waisted than I folks these could be of interest.
Not sure if these are real or knockoffs, but I figured they were worth sharing.

Sorry for posting back to back fits.
Freewheelers Grizzly jacket.
Stevenson sweat.
Freewheelers Timber Beast trousers.
Yuketen.21 -
@UkeNo I'd say that '47 and '51 are the 601XX "standard denim", they're both a little different but nearly indistinguishable from one another.
That being said I don't own the standard '47 or '51, but I do have the 661XX '56 which use the '51 denim and I like them quite a bit.
Once my '37 are a little more broken in I plan on wearing the '56 a bit more regularly. I'll probably try out the '47 eventually.1 -
That does ring a bell, thanks @mlwdp.

Freewheelers 506XX 1933.
Freewheelers heavyweight sweat.
Freewheelers M-1943 trousers.
Rolling Dub Trio Coupen.27 -
@Duke Mantee True, I just would like to have the exposed back pocket rivets, suspender buttons and the other 20's details. But the 37's are keeping my interest.
Was the denim used on the '22 much different? Looks pretty similar to the standard 601 mainline offerings, but I'm sure the recipe was slightly tweaked.1 -

1922 cut is widest and straightest
I am still trying to find a pair of these, keeping my fingers crossed that I'll run across a pair on Yahoo someday.
Giving my 601XXC 1937's a break today, almost 3 months in them so far with one initial wash. Really enjoying the new denim so far.
Also I like the 30's detail of the chainstitched out seam only being present on the left leg.12 -
Alternatively they could be also used to complete your Astro Boy cosplay.

Yup that's correct @beautiful_FrEaK, not sure if it's exactly the same denim but I assume Jelado helped in sourcing the denim.

Echoing Maynard that Yahoo is a good option, lots of Warehouse sweats up there.
