I’d also go Warehouse, RMC isn’t worth the asking price in my opinion.

Freewheelers Grizzly jacket. I debated this one for awhile but I'm happy I decided to get it.
British wool tweed outer, nylon lining, 50's vintage Crown zipper. It's actually not incredibly warm which is good for the climate here.
It's a bit of a chameleon in photos, the first two photos probably the most accurate in color.
The fit is fairly oversized, so I can wear it with a denim jacket underneath or a heavy sweater for more warmth.16 -

Some more photos of the new Warehouse Denime in this article, they're looking good: https://www.e-begin.jp/article/281573/

@UkeNo appreciate the tips, but looking for low tops currently.
Really hoping Timeworn reruns their deck sneaker this spring / summer.1 -
@indigoeagle I've seen them listed as "half a size big" on a few different web shops.
However I'm concerned that the 29cm will fit similarly to the Doek Oxfords which I bought in the same size and they were too small in the toe box.
They're not terribly expensive when purchased from Japan, might be worth trying out.0 -
Yeah, I've mostly given up on Japanese shoes / sneakers because most only go up to 29cm.
I really wanted the Butcher Products deck sneakers in the black upper / white sole colorway, but my size is sold out.
I'll keep looking.0 -
The FW 1933 jacket from this year is also worth a look, similar to the 1927 jacket with some different denim and details.
It's been my main jacket this year and I'm enjoying it a lot so far.2 -
Thanks for this @bod, I think I will have to pass. I think I'll be running into the same issue, if they made a 30cm I'd probably be fine.
I'll eventually find a pair of classic deck sneakers that are big enough!0 -
I don’t know…I’m kind of running low.

Mine are staying on ice for a bit, once I do decide to wash them I'll get a fit pic up!

I had a pair of secondhand 711's which I've since sold, the denim was nice but the cut wasn't my favorite.
Interested to see the measurements and detail photos on the 714. I've always wanted to try the 710 but I know the cut just isn't for me.0 -
I enjoy a nicely broken in pair of chinos, Warehouse has a few examples of their 1082's in their aging archive which are subtly nice.
My Freewheelers M-1941 trousers are aging nicely, I wash them regularly and they've started to lose their sheen. I'll have to post some photos of them soon.
Here's a pair of the WH 1082's.

Checking the Resolute Instagram and the 714 has been revealed as a WW2 era cut. Interesting development, maybe a pair I can finally wear.

Does anyone have experience with the Asahi deck shoes? If so how is sizing?
Thinking about trying the 29cm but I’m afraid I’ll run into the same issue I had with the Doek oxfords in that my pinky toes feel crushed.0 -

My natural body-clock wakes me up at 5:01 every morning
You never have a morning where you accidentally sleep in until 5:06 or 5:07?

I want to get a type 2 jacket and in-between sizes. Usually I’m a 44 but listening to you I should go for a 46 instead.
I might not be the best person to take advice from since I only have the black type 2, but I find it to be in line with my other FW jackets in the same size.
It feels a touch slimmer in the chest, but not enough to warrant a size up. I can still wear it buttoned up over a sweatshirt.
What brands do you typically wear a 44 in? I think it's best to size up when in doubt, as a denim jacket that is too tight looks odd in my opinion.0 -

Their XL t-shirts fit like a US M or maybe L.
I don't find this to be true at all? I have a bunch of their tees, all size XL and they fit pretty close to a US XL. For reference I'd never come close to fitting into a US medium tee.
I find their denim jackets run true to size as well, I have 3 all size 46 and they fit similarly.
The black type 2 I have is the slimmest, but only by a hair. Could have to do with the fact that that one was once washed by the factory and my others were raw.4 -
@Maynard Friedman here are the raw measurements.
Waist: 38 in.
Front rise: 13.5 in.
Back rise: 17 in.
Thigh: 14.25 in.
Knee: 10.5 in.
Hem: 9.5 in.
Inseam: 35 in.5 -

Here are mine! Keeping them raw for a bit and will wash them later after I wear the FW 37 and LB jeans a bit more.
Overall I'm impressed with the denim and finishing. The stitching isn't particularly wonky as one would expect with a war-era pair, but that doesn't bother me.
Also love the text on the patch / flasher. I went with the craft version (rusted hardware) but chose some that were not super rusty off the bat.27 -

Ooe Yofukuten seems like a prime example.
Amen, I've kind of lost interest in their products because of this to a certain extent. Especially the influencer crap.
This combined with perceived hype / limited availability makes me look elsewhere.0 -

I also have a pair of Hakusan Megane frames from Timeworn clothing. These are really great quality. Beautiful frames, but heavy.
I'd be interested in seeing photos of these if you have any available!
Probably should've prefaced this question with the fact that I've been gravitating towards the Clubmaster style these days, my current go to pair are the Moscot Yukel's.
The Hakusan Megane frames seem nice, personally don't mind the heavier frames.0 -
I understand what you're getting at, just trying to get some inspiration and see what's out there.
I worked in a shop for 5 years that sold a large variety of shapes and styles / brands, so luckily I'm somewhat familiar with what suits my face and what doesn't.
When searching online you get the run of the mill suggestions (Persol, Rayban, etc.) and so much of that search traffic is sponsored which is why I mentioned brands not owned by Luxottica. Not trying to flex and spend a bunch of money or anything, but I tend to trust people here more with their taste / style / personal experience.
We get a ton of sunshine here all year round so they're important to me when going about daily activities.1 -
I know this has been discussed several times before however I can't remember when or where...what brands of sunglasses are y'all wearing?
I have a few pairs of Moscots that I picked up while working at a shop that sold them years ago, but I'm wanting to find something new.
Prefer classic styling over most fashion forward stuff, and preferably a brand not owned by Luxottica.0 -
Maybe my definition for a "casual knock around shoe" is just different. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think you more eloquently laid out what I was intending to.

I think I remember getting an email from RMC London stating that their physical location was closing up as well.
