Interested! 40s or 30s cuts with good sized rises and volume would be cool
-
Thanks @beautiful_FrEaK

@Dr_Heech Junior has brought out the very nice hues in that denim 👏

Just been chatting on this Small scale maker to suit small scale comp, limited to Sufu members Methinks better if we agree on a cut and everyone has the same jeans full stop, perhaps a choice of cinch or not would enable easier consensus 😉 The easier we can make decision making from Sufu and the maker, the more likely it is to get off the ground WoM could be the way forward here...

Continued... Cable car up Mount Trebevic, site of the 1984 Winter Olympics in Bosnia… and the abandoned bobsled Watched FK Sarajevo win 3-1, more than my own club could muster It was the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival so we watched a few films, documentaries actually… recommending The Sky Above Zenica and a striking short documentary called Pain (intense) We were back row, the projector was behind me and Junior MJF9... perfect for casting shadows at the credits!! Then onto the next stop (Mostar) via Sarajevo’s beautifully brutal railway station

A week in Sarajevo… incoming double post… do look away if it’s too many pics! Such a wondeful vibrant place, steeped in good and bad history… sure the multi-religions, multi-ethnicities, multi-cultures would have lived, and live, much more harmoniously if it wasn’t for toxic politics that sadly persists everywhere today Our digs right next to the Latin Bridge Bullet holes on the walls from the 1993-95 war and Seige of Sarajevo, lasting 1,425 days The old town It wasn’t me! It was to prove denim was involved… the site where Gavrilo Princip shot Franz Ferdinand which kicked off WW1

Rockets look great. On the WW model, at least, they come in with much lower front and back rises that other repro brands such as FW, Connors which is a consideration.

Word of Mouth worth considering... perchance a 30s cut (repeat of rpo above! catching up)

Oh really... I thought unboxing was taking over from boxing

It was a lost weekend in a hut in Hathersage, luckily not double pneumonia in a single room… A top escape for me and the lad in the Peak district Walking in the great outdoors, staring into meadows while drinking morning coffee, making friends with the sons of stags, listening to streams trickling, swimming in the local lido, sticking to a caveman diet of meat, fruit and veg and chilling away from it all Walked up Stanage Edge and Bamford Edge. At one point, I thought I heard a rumbling down below as if someone was in the drains and then a cool bike flashed past… we were deep in OO Soul country so who knows if it was him or not… Importantly there was denim on the trip… tatsunosuke military trousers and Freewheelers 1930s set-up

@Geeman Congratulations!!! About time too

@beautiful_FrEaK thanks and great finds! I'd like one of those jackets. I hope someone on Sufu snaps them up.

^ deffo really nice jeans mate... your tip off was tip top! 👍

^ Thanks @indigoeagle. I only have the FW 37s. The most obvious to me is the lower front and back rises; around 1-2cm shorter FR and 3cm BR. The thigh and leg width are similar - if anything, the Denime is a touch bigger. The Denime denim feels smoother. I haven't done a side-by-side comparison though and would expect there to be slightly different features... will try do that at some point. The sizing of the Denime is much smaller. The Denime's are a W36, the FW are a W34 and the FW are still bigger in the waist and hips.

Denime 10th anniversary 1937 pics (from c1998) Just back from a hem-job... big thank you for a top job and service from @Mr Black With nicely patina-ing belt from @Duke Mantee Interestingly, the belt loops are very lightweight denim compared to the jeans themselves... similar to the TCB 20s but even lighter Spot the difference!
