I know Kapital is not for everyone... but I do like their funkiness I remember seeing @redragon wearing the Ringoman years ago and thought it looked cool. I've looked at it on and off over the years and eventually pulled the trigger. It's a cut-and-shut of 2 denims... 12oz body and 8oz sleeves... Mavis on the supermarket checkout didn't say anything so they must be hard to discern with the naked eye It has exaggerated multi-pockets to the front and back and is pretty spacious (this is a size 5) - more spacious than the photos suggest The big cargo pocket on the back might come in handy for carrying maps which I'll never use as I'll have my phone in one of the many front pockets. I'll also resist acquiring one of those lickle pooches just to maximise use of the back cargo pocket - it's a step too far 😉 Anyway... verdict... I really like it as a change from my usual jackets

Some great new kit @Broark...also seeing the Uplander as a tempting stand-out

Justing chatting with bF and Simone on the patch... given the first design was received with more enthusiasm and there are ahem reservations with the second, the proposal is to stick with the original first patch... which was very tasty indeed... A few nice looking pairs of jeans on Simone's feed today... no pun intended 🍕

@aho I have Brother Bridge Henry - early days but really like them... comfortable from the get go and nice fairly spacious last, where the laces to near-toe mean you can tighten them up depending on sock thickness. Nice leather too. I got ecru and black laces as standard, and bought some olive green which I'll try as soon as can make time

Pizza is good. However I'd prefer the pizza positioned more hygienically I just asked if it's possible to put the pizza in his hand, for instance 😉

Levis might have noticed Beyonce's 315 million followers on IG and disregarded any musical preferences!l I remember Nick (rest his soul) created quite a storm in that iconic ad... and not necessarily for his music!!! 😉

^ yeah totally... with added superstar reach for Levis...

SUPERDENIM SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD (Use instead of making new threads)
MJF9 replied to minya's topic in superdenim
If we take to extremes 1) a 50cm rise + 80cm inseam 2) a 30cm rise + 80cm inseam If worn in exactly the same place on the waist, scenario 1) has more material which has to go somewhere… and would hang lower on the leg Noting and agreeing that there are many more parameters will define how they look on an individual!! 😃 -
@fresh1 looking good... though the pic raises too many questions ... is that the local park? What were you wearing when you took the picture? Did they call the police?

SUPERDENIM SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD (Use instead of making new threads)
MJF9 replied to minya's topic in superdenim
^^ Tender front rise runs less than 13 inch... but if you can comprise on that, the thigh on the 132 in size 3 is 14 inch -

@malik not much to add to the above... this is a bit of a challenge eh... the thigh size for the waist as well as inseam sometimes Yamane denim is worth double-checking e.g. the Labor#7001 model (looks great)... but I think inseam will be too short Canes M41101 a 1930s Leepro in W36 (which washes to a W34) has 13 inch front rise and 14.5 inch thighs. Looks a good match - the issue is you'd need a lot of luck finding them on Yahoo auctions I checked Freewheelers 1937 - the thigh measured at crotch is 13.5 inch so little short. Ditto the Sugar Canes 1943 collectibles. Belafonte worth a check too - hi-back trousers won't work due to inseam but they may have other models - and they look good worn big which may help Good luck and keep us posted! -
@l13902733261 thanks for posting... what other jackets are in the latest catalog? If you have time, I'd be interested in some pics... thanks

Now then Mason, good to see you check in again... how are you doing? How's the denim and hat wearing going?

All sounds good UK advice... one consideration @AlientoyWorkmachine is which airport you'll fly into and how long you'll end up travelling to get to the destination. It's only 4-5 days and best parts of 2 days could be eaten up travelling internally with more far flung UK locations. If flying into London, the Peak District would be OK... maybe some of our southern Sufu-ers have some options closer to the big smoke (London)

Nice blast from the past there!
