For @MJF9 - a Wickett & Craig ‘American Vachetta’ rough out with a solid brass buckle that’s been sanded and re-polished to allow the metal to oxidise very quickly.

Been wearing Duke's fine creation quite a bit... the patina is coming along nicely and steadily methinks

  2. Thanks for the review @tooth.

One observation is the rises are lower than I'd have expected and yours seem a touch lower than posted online. I know the adjacent war versions for FW and TCB both have considerably bigger rises.

Wonder what the 43 will turn out like.

I think we're going need some collectibles fit pics in the thread!!

  3. @Dr_Heech I'm planning to pass on the 42s mate as I've got a few tuxes on the go as it is. I'd already put an order in for the new SC 43s... though before the actual sizes are announced so we'll see how that turns out.

To Duke's point, I kept the same size 34 with the 37s. Yeah they're a big bigger on the waist but jeans soon mould to you anyway and also think it works with the cut. I'm sure the size 33 would be work ok too.

Seiichiro is a top man so sure he'll take care of you.

Rubbish. ‘cos the ground’s too hard? When I were a lad we played rugby on frozen ground, it’s good for your minerals.

Just postponed, no more details, versus an academy too... what have the groundsmen been doing???

Similarly, I recall playing football matches in the snow... and that was with a white ball!  Who needs these new-fangled glowy orange balls eh.  In Duke's day, back in the late 1800s, there were no complaints with footballs made out of sheep's bladders... absolutely rock solid when frozen too 😜

Anyhow instead we went to the gym together... and hammered loads of Kurdish kebabs afterwards... the gaff is not the most salubrious, but the lads are super welcoming (and we're the only non-Kurds I've ever seen in there) and they do a mean bit of meat over charcoal with all the trappings... and only £20 for 6 skewers, 4 cups of sweet tea and all the mashings... what's not to love

The prices some of the keyboards can get silly. The vintage inspired ones look pretty cool: https://mechboards.co.uk/products/hyper-7-v4?variant=41877334720717

Wow. I'd never have thought it but suppose in reality as peeps are spending more time at the keyboard then makes sense cool keyboards are a thing.

Good luck to the hikers OO.

My lad's football comeback after 3 months off with kids growth / sports injury postponed today... it's 5C and the ground is good... boo hiss to the excessive health and safety police

I can’t stand the look of a long tee or shirt sticking out a few inches under a denim jacket.

This. A little peak may - with emphasis on the may - pass muster but, for me, it's tucked under a type 1.

'To tuck or not to tuck' is an age old connundrum.

With longer chore jackets where there's no peaking, untucked can be ok imo. However if the shirt is super long, we're getting into dress territory.
