Hi @CSL, my experience with a FH heavy flannel shirt is that it did shrink a bit over time after washing at 40°C, without using a tumble drier. I may have washed it at 60°C once.

They might be a bit tight on me so I’ll pass.

@CharlieMike I think in terms of discussion of the SC66, there is no objective truth of how true it is to the original. Ask a different person and you’ll get a different response based on their own subjective understanding of what constitutes a 66 cut (is there really such a thing anyway?) and how close the SC model is to realising that. They are no doubt what someone at Sugar Cane/Toyo believes to be representative of that era so must be based on something. If you accept the SC66 is in that ballpark and you like the cut, measurements, denim and details then it’s probably worth going for. If not, then keep looking…

My understanding of the SC66 is that they have generous thighs and arse (due to the high front and back rises) with a taper. Perfect for me if I were in the market but I’m not sure that’s what you’re looking for @Cold Summer, although I’m happy to be proven wrong and hope they work out for you.

^ What do you mean - the denim’s not as good? The construction? Other materials? Everything? I bought a MiJ Type I in late 2022 but have jet to wear it, however, it looks great to me (denim, other materials and construction), although I don’t have a LVC Type I to compare it to.
