  1. I really didn't know Flower Mountain until it was brought up here some months ago. I definitely found them intersting but too playful for me. But this version speaks to me
  2. @Double 0 Soul I bought it from TCB but it is made by Sure Mfg. They work closely together with tops. It's a nice tee and I would buy more of it if I could find the exact once again 8in stock).
  3. Two Moon Westpoint Pants. (Pics from 2023 but I can fit them again )
  4. It even works on Sassafras items (which seem to be excluded for other coupons). @julian-wolf check that out!
  5. We can consider ourselves lucky to have these jeans with a "PIZZA"-tab...
  6. I heard of the store before and would say it's legit. 31% off is a serious number. Tried it in the cart and it works. So use it!
  7. When I wsa in Japan, they explained to me why. I forgot it though
  8. AFAIK, the Kyotos have a different denim than the Tokyos. The Tokyos might have the same denim as the 66 though
  9. A 540 in a like-new condition: https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/japan/en/auction/yahoo/input/b1186965965/
  10. @Sympathy-For-The-Denim oh yes, the ToysMcCoys even more so
  11. The 66 pairs use a different, lighter denim. The jeans look unaltered and a 38" outseam would be rather short. So yeah I think that's the inseam.
  12. @indigoeagle Yahoo (like so many good finds) And yes, the last release was 2021 but it was a slightly different pair (details different and a wider fit)
  13. The fake SugarCane jeans have reached Yahoo Auction https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/japan/en/auction/yahoo/input/h1189731827/ Or am I wrong?! The other stuff from this shop looks rather legit on first view. Edit: nah I think he sells knock-offs and starts the auctions pretty cheap. Or who would sell a FW jacket with a starting price of 1,000 Yen?
  14. This seller has 3 pairs of deadstock 66 from the Shins era. Good prices (as of now) https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/japan/en/yahoo-auctions/search/-/-/?seller=5cKdq_71BXKUgaWE4XI-ZDFbfnvf6x_zUubtjYI4iSkNk0OSd3tdMZi5aORMeIsgk738vxmI5HOKZr8V8XbHAA.wGpRtiqBlCzIT8Ftd3v7hPx-Dwcd_FUNrd_C1ZMycOE
  15. @Maynard Friedman thanks! Bought them from Yahoo Auction using Japanrabbit this time to show Neal if its use is worthwhile
  16. @ATWM I have ordered one of their 92022 sweaters from BEARS and will hopefully receive them next week or. I know many here like their sweaters so I wanted to try them out as well. @Double 0 Soul I will add additional pics soon and add some more info about the jeans. The chinos ended up with me like 2 years ago or so. A bit tight but wearable. I'm currently loosing weight again.
  17. Two Moon 530 The 530 model is the regular straight model from Two Moon. They also have a 540 model which has a lower rise and is slimmer and more tapered (a "66 cut"). This version is not the from the 'recent' release in 2021 but an older model. You can identify this by the not off-set belt loop and the backpocket having a backstitch at the top (which I actually prefer to the square above the pockets, we discussed this detail recently if it was an actual Levi's thing). I'm not sure from when it is. The jeans are made of 14oz red-line selvedge denim. The cotton for the warp is from Zimbabwe but you can also find the information it being Supima cotton. The weft is US cotton or recycled cotton, both information can be found. The development of the denim started early on in the brand's life but only in 1998 or 99 they were confident enough to release it. It is designed to be tough and fade slow. It's dyed double the times than regular denim whatever this means. The old Lighning Magazine did a rating about fading speed. Momotaro and SDA were labelled 'slow', this Two Moon denim was rated 'very slow'. Perfect for a me as a collector... Points of stress (button holes, crotch seams) are sewn with poly-cotton thread. The whole concept of these jeans is durability, at least that's what the makers claim. Size 34x34 One-wash Waist: 88 cm / 34.65" Front rise: 30 cm / 11.8" Back rise: 44 cm / 15.75" Thighs: 33 cm / 13" Knee: 25.5 cm / 10" Leg opening: 23.5 cm / 9.25" Inseam: 84 cm / 33" Dearskin leather patch Rather thin belt loops Based on the VAT being 5%, this pair has to be before 2014 (and after 1997)
  18. According to Lightning Magazine founded in 1991. However, their hang tangs have a 1992 printed on it. It's a bit of a mysterious brand. They sell their items through an agent to the shops. There are allegedly 3 people behind this brand and they do a lot of sewing on their own. http://www.two-moon.com/ Mostly known for their tops, especially sweaters and t-shirts. They also do pants from time to time like chinos or jeans. Their most famous item is probably the 92022 loopwheel sweater which they offer since 1992. Based on this, I guessed the first two numbers of the items are connected when it was first released and it matched e.g. with their jeans they offered in 2021 as an anniversary model. But there are also items which contradict this claim.
  19. A little bit of jeans history lesson: https://www.nippon.com/en/japan-topics/g02518/japanese-jeans-turn-sixty-visiting-okayama’s-denim-capital-kojima.html
  20. @Double 0 Soul last official price i heard was 66k ¥. Probably included tax. But thats some years ago so I wouldn't be surprised if it has increasing since
  21. Try here https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/japan/en/yahoo-auctions/search/S409xxx/-/ @Double 0 Soul still pretty expensive
  22. Yeah I saw those as well. No mention of actual weight, yet "everyone" claims the denim got heavier in WW2 (and thereafter).
  23. Try the secondary market or go to Japan. Or try to get some Cushman which sometimes are made by Konaka-san
