Have a feeling these will be one of my best fitting pairs, despite sizing up to size 40! As for the denim itself, I think they'll be fairly fast faders, something about the crunchiness that's hard to explain, but something I think we all intuitively understand having handled dozens (if not hundreds) of pairs over the years 😆 Construction is on par for what I'd expect for someone emulating 1942's (I went with 411S), a little shoddy here and there in a good way, I think he did a great job! Also a big fan of the hardware used, particularly the hidden rivets on my 42's. It's been a while since I've had a new pair, but this really invigorates my love for the hobby again. I'd place them somewhere between TCB and Ooe on the vibes chart, closer to TCB but with a bit more personality. Will run them through the hot cycle twice and air dry. Mentioned before that my package was half opened and only now just realizing my WMJ Flasher is missing 🤷‍♂️ I can only assume that Levi's secret police are out there, but luckily they left the marinara intact 😆

^Excellent progress! This is some seriously stubborn denim, at least compared to my other Ooe pairs. Will post mine once I receive the WOMCOM jeans. Mine have 4 washes at over two years of wear and they still have years of life ahead of them and still super dark.

Flying blind on the fit, not sure how oversized they'll be (size 40 is new territory for me lol), so depending on the outcome they'll either be my dedicated all day every days at best, or my new dog walkers at worst. Either way I do plan to increase to a more normalized washing routine as I'm doing the no wash thing on my Ooe's which has caused damage to the crotch stitching. Excited to get this pair though! I will hold off on any other jeans purchases (excluding Ooe; Did I mention them enough yet?) through the duration of the contest in solidarity.

^Never got a good fit on any of my pairs either, but they finally make a size 38 so I'll eventually get around to it once I'm in Japan. Purchasing from their international shops is also way too rich for me, though I love basically anything/everything they do from a fashion brand perspective. Staff in Japan are always so incredibly nice as well

It's unfair but I've always been biased against Pherrow's because of the branding 😅 That said, I still like the Deluxeware better here. I like that they're sort of out in the middle of nowhere Akita doing their own thing but still making a premium product. Always wanted a pair but waiting for something less than 15oz (if it ever comes, or maybe it has and I'm not paying attention).

My OA01XX's bring a tear to my eye it's been so long since their last wash, so strong is their scent...I'll be sure to post them prior to storage (and of course a much needed wash) before the WoMcon!
