Unfortunately gone are the days where it was about sharing an experience and daily lifestyles with a small(er) community while all wearing the same pair. I'd still love to participate in a sufu-style "contest" because I enjoy the camaraderie and seeing the variety of how a specific fabric/cut can evolve, but I think largely the retailers and brands who used to participate no longer have interest in doing so, and we probably couldn't get enough people on sufu alone to justify a smaller production run like ~30 pairs. Happy to join if anyone can prove otherwise!

Few randoms as I clean out the closet: Levi's 519 Premium line, purchased from Levi's Kyoto store in 2006. My first pair worn from raw, loooove the vertical falling on these, really comfortable fabric as well (maybe 10.75 oz.?) Sugarcane 1966 from 2010. Need pictures of the frontside sometime, the whiskering is really ideal for my taste. TCB Contest Jeans: Can't remember when this was, but I really tested the limits on this fabric with washing/drying. Wouldn't do it again as I prefer a more balanced washed/air dry look these days, but it was an interesting experiment. The fabric itself has wild puckering/marbling properties They're really that intense in real life too, really comical 😅

Another wash on my home/lounging pants. Really love the blue on these, I should wear them more. The buttons started out all black and have patinated over time. Despite the lack of wear, they fade super fast, fastest of any Cone fabric I’ve experienced.

Right! Was originally put on to the jeans because The Signet posted the jacket. Fabric looks great: https://www.instagram.com/p/C-ACqt2BiCr/?img_index=1 Just have no idea about the sizing! They let me know with gentle washing and air drying it'll shrink 1-1.5cm. Throw them in the drier, they'll shrink up to 4cm and might damage the fabric so air drying is advised.
