Oh they’re lovely! Do you have any comparison to other Alden lasts sizing wise? It appears the common wisdom is to go the same as your Barrie last size.. There’s a nice pair of the Kafka Mercantile make up of the military derby going for a great price on eBay.. I’m virtually there I was just gathering a few more notes on the sizing! Ha -

Ha, me too. But I didn’t feel like that about them when they were new - it took time. It’s a little nostalgic for me - they’re the closest fit to the jeans I wore for many years that - usually different skate brands that I found on bargain racks and I think maybe just the best general sort of cut for me. In this way they’re just the best version of the thing I’ve worn for most of my life whereas most repros are a little different. But, I still want to try the 47s! (Of course) -

I just got mine in this week. I mostly sized this based on overall length and not waist since it comes with shock cord to adjust it. fit is great, knee articulation is super roomy. the front pockets are the best part. As slash pockets are always hard to get into while sitting. But the top opening on these is super easy to get in and out of. I am a large in most acronym and got a large here as well at 5’11” 190 lbs. normally a US 34-36 in most pants.
