I think that was smart. I waited maybe a year of wear before I gave my 1955 jacket its first wash and it never softened up before I washed it.

Kojima Genes, why are they priced on average lower than other similar japanese brands? -
I saw those, they look really nice! On a side note, has anyone here tried their oxford shirts?

A little update on my LR01s, been wearing them most days since October and have given them three washes. They are starting to show some nice fades.

I think that was quite expected when they were bought up. Currently following if the same will happen to Our Legacy, their prices have gone up like crazy too.

Found a wild rhubarb patch while out on a walk today (wearing SC 66s). Became quite a harvest! Any suggestions on what to do with it all?

Bumping this thread because I want to see what denim shirts people are wearing!

@PrettyBoyTony That seems plausible, I believe LVC shrink around 8-10% just like old 501s did. And I can’t remember how stretchy the denim was. You can always go for the 1955 if you want a more straight cut, imo the back pocket placement is also a bit better on those.

@PrettyBoyTony Yes, modern LVC are pretty short in inseam, they should shrink to around 78 cm. Tried a pair of LVC 66s for a while but they were not for me so I returned them (bought them one wash so I wore them post shrink). My issues were that they were too short and the silhouette was too tapered, this can be fine if there is some stacking but the small leg opening was really exaggerated by the fact that I had no break over my shoes. If there was a L36 option I would give them another chance.

Just why. To me Naked and Famous has always felt like a gimmicky brand, I’ve yet to see a pair from them that I’d actually wear.

@winteracr Looks really really good. Had the same issue with my Resolutes so did the same thing there, afterwards they became much more enjoyable to wear.

@PrettyBoyTony Yes I've had a pair for a few years now and they are probably my favorite jeans, much more roomy and overall a more balanced fit than the 710 imo. The denim is not very similar to Resolute, less fluffy when new and doesn't fade into the same sky-blue color as the 710. Has a bit of a green cast reminiscent of older Levi's from the early 60s and 50s. The Sugar Cane 66 feels like a repro of an older jean than the Resolute 710.
