  1. Today I am sponsored by Nudie. The jeans are pretty fresh, they’re cone mills white oak that I picked up on sale. I thought I’d get a pair before the fabric disappears. 74D78D90-67C7-4C80-AE4C-90273A30C1C3.thumb.jpeg.92727f5f1129129fd43064d2fde04d79.jpeg1F714C05-4699-4E47-9434-FE380EC7A29F.thumb.jpeg.fed41400bc45bb59b649473eee1fe724.jpeg

Even though the shirt is selvedge I had to wash after 2 months. Every time I put it on the sleeves had this creepy feeling. There’s a bit of evo, just need more direct sunlight to see it...

  2. Ok, so warm wash and left overnight next to a dehumidifier, which may have been a mistake as now it’s twice as rigid but I think it has tighten up in all the right places.

Sorry for the crappy pics, I was late going out already:E56DB77E-C442-4340-8D6E-4EAC6AFCE0CB.thumb.jpeg.59fe7a54a8e25412d7a2f35209eb0c76.jpeg0D3C8F77-CC35-4F51-BA15-7C34496449C1.thumb.jpeg.fedcca9a6115d44542dcbf69ddf52aed.jpeg

  3. Pre wash measurements:

Chest (pit to pit) is 23.5

    Shoulders is 22

length (from the bottom of the collar) is 28

    Sleeves 28

@Broark did you machine wash at 40 or just a hot soak for an hour?

  4. Hi

I took advantage of the Black Friday sales at Denimio and purchased the TCB 50s jean jacket size 46. It’s raw so it needs to have hot soak.

The fit is good if a little “boxy” but that might due to it being still rigid. Does anyone else have this jacket and how long did you soak or wash it and how much shrinkage did you experience?

    Thanks,

  5. @1fookntitefd hi, your question prompted me to get in touch with Evisu as they have left the detailed section about their fabric blank on their website. Its a bespoke pair of 2008 cut (regular), private stock, 36 waist and a 38 leg denim. The fabric code is J03SELVEDGE and it is a lot lighter in shade then other denim and has quite a bit of character-though it does shrink a lot, I actually sat with mine on in tub as I was worried they wouldn't fit afterwards, and as a precaution I took a longer inseam. I am a 36 waist in most other denim and it has stretched back out so its alright to wear.

  6. Hurray "working from home" and putting more leg work into my IH-1955-UHR, they shrink down to 23oz so they are only comfortable for me when it gets chillyCA5A0889.thumb.JPG.2729fa8f3641e536c82d6c1ca9b245d0.JPG

The same with my Nudie Jonis selvedge shirt, been wearing it loads to try and make something happen:

And in direct sunlight you can see some results:

Why not just use the upload form instead of linking to files hosted elsewhere? Seems like you can't just hotlink to pics hosted in Google Photos or maybe you didn't set permissions right. Anyways, just uploading to the forum directly is bulletproof.

    Thanks, Cucoo
