@jkbrwn great fades mate, I have a pair of 1000 that are slowly getting there. I also copped myself a pair of the 700C but sized up to a 38 (36 had already sold out), i was hoping that a couple of hot soaks would have a big impact but they’re still pretty roomy. If I stand with my legs wide apart the jeans look great but I look a bit strange :)

I tried SoSo clothing and got a 5oz selvedge chambray shirt. Happy with the way it fits (went with their XL measurements) and I hope it ages well. 2nd pic displays the fabric against a pair of Hellers.  

On one of these threads somebody complained how a brown weft just made the denim look dirty as it faded. Personally I have a Tanuki jacket and jeans both indigo x indigo, the denim is great and look forward to seeing them age. 

I got a pair of loose pink selvedge Edwins off eBay a while back. They were marked as part of the Vintage Collection but I got for their wide thighs and straight legs.  Much thinner denim then most of my collection which makes them comfortable for london in the summer.

Seriously though, I'm starting to think that this kind of thing is the only way forward for denim-heads, people who are passionate about the denim and the culture, coming together to make a special/specific pair in fairly limited numbers.

Not sure where you get the 90% mate, most responses are positive or genuine questions. But defo agree about involving the community to get great denim pieces.

@Tangem2 that’s a good point. My experience stretches to the 510 and 710 both 19oz and both Kiwami and now the 17oz zero denim.  

From experience I found that Sams usually stretch back out to their pre soak size.

@501XX4EVER crumbs!!! Actually they're not too bad, these red pockets can take the whole hand without them being balled up into fists. But I did have to brace the waist with a bit of wood because they shrunk down a hell of a lot, defo shorter then my 510 and 710 too. Wish I had taken a before photo to show the difference, now -thanks to the dehumidifier- I got them on now and I have managed to close the top button. Hopefully my girth will stretch them into something comfortable.
