  1. Construction is on a level comparable to each and any of the usual jp brands. Fabric of the heavy flannels is very nice, too.

The fit is slim so sizing up may be an option, but I don't find them so slim as too be constricting - ymmv on that though of course.

UES make shirts with shorter length compared to other brands, which is great for me. I only have 1 UES shirt, but that will change over time I think.

Exactly the reason why I love my two (so far) UES flannels, too ;)

I think the 55 are a bit wider. I would go for the 66 personally, get your actual waist size. It's a tough call though.

And good on ya, Sammy.that's a stunning fit.

They seem to have that tiny waste compared to the hips that my 55 have, I think it's just the pose and Sammy's booty making the legs appear a bit slimmer.

Ha, I had a pair of 47 some years ago and you're right, that detail really sucks :D

I believe that the lad is insinuating that your appearance in that photograph gives the impression that you partake in the hooligan activity known as 'skateboarding' and have sufficient skill such that you are able to perform the maneuver known as a 'slash grind' in which you ride your skateboard up the wall of an empty swimming pool and position the 'trucks' of your skateboard onto the lip of the pool and 'grind' your trucks against the lip of the pool.

    I see :D

Spot on fit! How tall are you and what do you usually wear size wise for similar shirting? I'm looking to get the Appaloosa and was recommended to get a medium as they run a little snug (not big). Hopefully after the initial soak/wash it will shrink to the proper fit.

Thanks! I'm 174cm and usually an S or M in MF, I was advised to get an M in this shirt from several sources and it was the right decision.

  6. @oomslokop Thanks - it's a medium and shoulders and chest fit like a medium. I was advised that if you plan to wash a lot going up one size might be a good idea, but to be honest I have only seen minimal (if any, didn't take measurements though) shrinkage with a cold soak + spin dry in the washing machine so I think as long as I stick to cold washes I'll be fine.

I like all the individual pieces, and maybe the angle the pic was taken at adds to the effect, but IMO the jeans' taper makes those boots look cartoonishly huge.
