RAF suspenders in unused condition arrived today:

I like them better than the Czech army ones - leather instead of faux leather and most importantly, they lie flat against back and belly. The Czech ones are sewn in a way that makes for strange protrusions that are uncomfortable when worn. I hope this pic shows what I'm talking about:

My 20s are enjoying a nice quiet evening at the local watering hole 

20s featuring denim & supply blanket shirt and red wing brogue rangers. 

Seeing aho makes me want to wash them, but I will at least wait out the first 30 days, got some promising early lap fades. They indeed crock fast but I'm also wearing them a lot. My normal routine is to wear jeans for the work day and take them off once I get home to change into sweat pants or a secondary pair, haven't done that with them yet because they're so comfy, so they got more miles of playing with my toddler or sitting on my ass watching Netflix or playing video games than other jeans got. 

I may even do yard work in them on the weekend!

 Well it was more of a Route 66 road trip, we started in DFW, drove west to the Grand Canyon and circled back through Arizona and New Mexico. Spent a few days on a dude ranch and in San Antonio, too.

Anyways, hopefully I can take the 20s on our next three week USA road trip which will probably take place in the first half of 2019 - west coast this time I think...

Too bad we didn't have the 20s yet last May when I was on vacation in Texas - didn't have time the time to even think of scheduling any meetups but I would've tried harder for a TCB 20s meetup

Strange logic IMO, so discounting while black friday is on is not desirable but normal discount codes for 20% or 30% off working for LVC is desirable? Also you'd think that the 40% off in the US wouldn't have worked then either. I don't think this is indicative of LVC as a whole.

That sucks, I just put a few items in my cart and no problems at all. Strange behavior to say the least, it shouldn't be a problem for a big company like Levi's to ship stuff from different warehouses within Europe - at least as long as Brexit isn't through

Probably. I know that while I've always eyed certain LVC models, the uncertainty of what comes next for them is what made me buy 2 of them right now...

I don't see why I should care, no matter where it's made quality is always there with MF. As long as that doesn't change Christophe can have his stuff sewn wherever he likes.

I don't think they'll rust from wear.

I just switched over to Levi's UK and indeed, 7 items for LVC - it's 47 items available in the German shop. Heh. 

My orders are sent from Germany so yeah, probably different warehouse. The above still seems like glitchy behavior, I can't imagine every single LVC T-Shirt etc. having been sold out in addition to every model of 501...

Most of the LVC on the UK site is showing the above. However, I left a couple of pieces in my cart and they are still available but not available from the main page! It would appear that Levis have decided to pull most of the LVC stock from Sale, did they make a mistake in including all of the LVC in the BF promotion?

I don't think so, it's all still available from the main page with 30% off on the Levi's Germany.

I used to have everything delivered to the office so I could sneak it home but I'm lucky - my wife has recently realized that she spends more on disposable fashion than I do on only a few things per month, so she stopped complaining.

Does anyone else have first threads breaking on their pair? My office drone lifestyle can't be the reason

I have that one in the NOS Cone, too. My usual MF size is 38 but I took it in 40, didn't want it to come up too short. Sleeves also came out perfect for me and would have been on the short side with a 38, but YMMV on that.

If you don't mind shorter length and don't want to layer too much under it your usual size should work fine. For comparison, I have the Mulholland Master in 38 and 10th Anniv. CPO in M and they fit great.

47 first for me, but with the 20s and two brand new LVCs I really, really can't justify it

That would be fun! I'll consider it, have to check with work and the wife...
