I got a pair of raw Lee 101S and the shop said the inseam will shrink about 2" in length with first wash, no mention of waist shrinkage, but I'm still unsure if I should soak them before wearing to get all shrinkage out of the way. What do you guys think?

What do you mean with old? they announced both the "classic" and the "Lee-inspired" model

I prefer the style of this one: http://ameblo.jp/samuraihonten/entry-11776315317.html - that yoke and pocket flaps, I fell in love with them at first sight

Yeah, the shirt shown there is pretty nice too. I still prefer the "old" pocket style though I think. However their interpretations of the classic western shirt never disappoints. I wish companies like Levi's would dare to take some risks with that too, because it would be a lot easier on my wallet
Edit: talking about the shirt in the post from 2014.02.20 17.40.09

Mine's size m too, it fits ok but it could use a bit of shrinkage for a slimmer fit. Thanks though

Mine is sanforized and didn't shrink.
Mine even came with the same "this pair of jeans will shrink here's a sizing guide" tag that LVC jeans come with.
I wish LVC would get their act together and put up a decent website with actual info on all their products

Well the tag said up to 10% shrinkage, that's why I soaked it right away.

I absolutely love the Samurai western shirts, recently I got lucky and scored one like this from the 15th anniversary collection:
When looking around the web these shirts (not just the anniversary ones) seem to be sold out all over, does anybody know if they'll pop up again - especially the denim versions?

I bought the 1955 Sawtooth shirt in rigid and did a 45 minute soak because of the expected shrinkage, but it didn't shrink at all yet. Wore it one time now and I'm not sure if it would best to toss it in the washing machine now and do a 30°C wash or if I should wear it a couple more times before that (obviously not for a couple of months like a pair of jeans).
How are you guys treating raw LVC shirts?

I'm thinking about getting a raw denim jacket, don't want to spend too much though. I already have a Type III (not raw, but still) and so I lean more towards Lee Rider style. Only question is: Lee 101J or maybe a Nudie Conny? The latter one is regular fit, can anyone tell me how not-slim they are?
Are there other options around €150,- for preferrably slim fit raw "Rider style" jackets?
