Alright, that's strange. Mine feel "too big" for a size 30 everywhere but the waist. I'll probably just ask Cultizm what they make of it...

Because I'm a dumbass I interpreted "TTS" as "will shrink to tag size"
the 76 arrived and the sz 30 already measure 37cm in the waist before washing. I don't think I'll be OK since I need a 30" waist...
Liking everything else about them though, I think.
Edit: should just stay to the LVC thread I guess
Just read that they'll end up at pre-wash after shrink and stretch.

That seems pretty dumb. I don't see why a third party service like that is necessary with things like "Verified by VISA" or the Mastercard equivalent existing... especially since writing emails back and forth takes all the speed out of online transactions.

Yeah, with shopping at Levi's I wouldn't think twice either. Won't return the pair I bought at Cultizm just to save another 15€ though.

so how is people's stockpiling of cone denim jeans going?
Guilty as charged
1976 coming in.

Aw man, even works on the German site. I ordered with a 20% code off Cultizm, could've saved even more
Maybe I'll get the 1966 to compare...
What did you like more about the 76?

Well, I haven't watched it but I'm guessing Stranger Things 2 is set in '83, and the fold-over jeans were more like '87 and on, so we might have to wait until Stranger Things 6.
It's 1984, but close enough

TCB is a Japanese brand that has nothing whatsoever to do with Levi's besides, like many other Japanese brands, aspiring to replicate the "good old times" Levi's experience.

Thanks!

The end of Cone inspired me to want to try the 1976, after reading through the relevant posts in this thread consensus is pretty much that they fit TTS, right? I've found a few size charts that seem to point to that, too... could always stretch the waistband when wet Setterman-style I guess...

Yes, agreed!

No customs office I had dealings with has ever believed the gift check box, I always had to show an invoice. I wouldn't object to lower value though, like $25 or something

Do we know how the shipments will be declared, value wise?

Yeah - sucks, but isn't that what insurance is for?

Terrible pics and I managed to block the goddess (Citroen DS) behind me ^^ Really enjoying the MF Mulholland Master, awesome jacket. One of those pieces that is just a joy to wear. Have to be really careful with the belt though, the buckle is massive and will wreck stuff

Why not just use the upload form instead of linking to files hosted elsewhere? Seems like you can't just hotlink to pics hosted in Google Photos or maybe you didn't set permissions right. Anyways, just uploading to the forum directly is bulletproof.

I may have a problem
Can't help myself and got this as-new Mulholland Master from the original run. Quick fit pic for now. Lovely jacket, and I believe every story about how hard it is to make, but I honestly wouldn't have paid $900 ^^ (By that I mean, that's approaching serious "really good leather jacket" money if that makes any sense)

Sharp as always. Jacket is Mister Freedom though, no?
Thanks. Jacket is a shameless clone unfortunately
(Still a well constructed, blanket lined jacket perfect for cooler fall weather.)

Just got a pair of Beckmans, too
9013 (Chestnut). Last Sunday Vente Privee had their annual Red Wing sale, I woke up too late and only signed in at 9:03 with the sale starting at 9:00... had to take half a size larger than my usual RW size. So they're a bit large but fine with insole. The waxed laces are a nice surprise, actually long enough which I'm not used to from Red Wing
(Not many models were on sale this year but €119 for the Beckman is pretty good. Missed out on roughout Blacksmiths though, would have definitely gotten those too if my size had still been available.)
The chestnut leather is a bit more orange-y in natural light than the pics show, but I plan to knock them around all winter and not do a thing treatment-wise, so I hope they'll darken quickly.
Shown here after being worn two days.

My size 30 1976 measure exactly 30" with the waistband aligned, which I still think is strange when your 32 is clearly oversized. Still not sure if I should trust @propellerbeanie and just go for it...
They probably also feel tight in the waist since the rise hasn't shrunk yet and they sit higher than they would after shrinkage, too.
The '47 and '66 will arrive tomorrow so I'll wait to compare either way.
