Buy another one and hem the sleeves?

I don't see a problem with made in China (or elsewhere) per se. There's the whole sweatshop or not issue etc. and there surely are brands that charge unjustified mark-ups (RRL maybe?), but if a brand hits a quality I'm fine with and doesn't use abusive labor practices I don't see why I should care where it's made... why shouldn't Chinese factories be able to reach the same standards as Japanese or US factories? It's not like in Japan every factory is staffed only by wise old sewing masters
If you care about where your money goes, so to speak, that's unrelated to quality.

Sounds like an awesome experience, great write-up!
Now I just wonder how the hell you got it all home

I'm a sz 30 and have the S5000 21oz in 29, SD1 worked perfectly for me - but I seem to remember that recently Samurai waists got a bit smaller so I'd have Denimio measure an actual pair to make sure it's not too small.
Cut-wise the S5000 isn't much wider than the 710s in the top block, just not tapered below the knee . It's a slim straight cut.

Yeah, size small. It fits great everywhere but the sleeves - could use a few CM in length. Seems to be my specific sizing problem with Mister Freedom, kind of the same story with the Indian madras shirt I got recently. Going up one size would make both shirts too long to wear untucked...

Yeah, I found your pics when I researched this shirt
I gave mine a cold handwash last evening, it fits fine everywhere but the sleeves are on the short side. Did you get a lot of shrinkage there with normal washing?

I like the western yoke on a jacket but somehow sawtooth pockets don't really work. I feel like this would look a lot better if it was made from a thicker looking fabric, had bigger (more jacket like) buttons and was slightly longer in the body. Maybe even lose the snap buttons. Contrast stitching in brown or lemon would be good too. Now I realize I just turned it into a denim jacket like every other
I can't find a pic but Lawless denim made a few one-off denim jackets that looked like a hybrid of western shirt (yoke) and cafe racer leather jacket, I think that was the only cool thing to ever come out of Lawless

How about picking up all 20s for us Europeans

To be honest they don't really appeal that much to me, but who knows, future models might

Ranch Hand shirt
I don't really know how it happened, but over the last few months Mister Freedom suddenly became the most prominent brand in my closet... it's far from a collection but two jackets, two t-shirts, three shirts and a pair of boots are more pieces than I own by any other brand besides Levi's. (More €€€ sunk into it, too :D)

Well, we had some pretty strong thunderstorms last night, and I really thought the forest might be quite muddy. Turns out, not so much ^^

Well, at least in Germany you have to go pretty rural to witness True Religion jeans in the wild nowadays

At your own risk! ^
Nah, I'll stay with my size. 76cm post-wash is perfect.

If you keep talking about the stretchiness of the denim I will go down to 29 from a 30 after all

@Geeman It was more of a "you talkin' to me" situation with my phone instead of a mirror

X-Post from MF thread
QuoteTook delivery of one of the last pairs of trooper boots today. Took a total gamble on sizing (MF says half size down from sneaker size - but I wear US9 in CTs and US10,5 in Vans, so yeah) but the 9,5 fits. Can't wait to start breaking these in!
I totally love the selvedge denim drawstring bag they came in, too.

That aggressive taper really seems to be suited best for tucking in and probably makes for a really clean tucked look since there's no excessive fabric around the waist.

It most certainly is great to see a canvas sneaker where the canvas gives out but the rubber looks fine
With standard CTs it's always been the opposite for me, rubber breaking at stress points.

If they age well or not is a matter of opinion, but I actually agree on wash them
