  1. They don't, see here: https://store.toyo-enterprise.co.jp/html/ordercontract.html (at least that's what their HP says)
  2. Currently my most comfortable pair. 1947
  3. @yung_flynn those Kyoto look great and a perfect hayashi-san style! With the colour and everything they are really close to the Resolute 710. I never had a pair of Kyoto (would need a W36 in them) so I didn't know the rise is lower than on Resolute 710. Sp the lower rise combined with the slim fit makes them probably a no go for me. One pair to cross off the "need" list @blooming The 220A look perfect as well! Some Mercari items: Shins era 66XX in W34 in quite a good condition: https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/japan/en/special/order/confirm/https%3A%2F%2Fjp.mercari.com%2Fitem%2Fm92968816353/13_1/ And a Sins era XX in W30 in perfect one-wash condition, good price https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/japan/en/special/order/confirm/https%3A%2F%2Fjp.mercari.com%2Fitem%2Fm33729224263/13_1/
  4. Question regarding vintage Levi's 501s: Did the seams really pucker so much like they do on Japanese repros? I am wearing my CSF right now and was astonished about the amount of puckering on my front pocket seams. Didn't really notice this on vintage 501s so far.
  5. No Boots, no Life is a professional 2nd hand shop. They have quite a lot of old Denime stuff around (for high prices). There used to be a pair of Kyotos in W40 being for sale for years. IIRC even with a buy it now option. Last week a bidding war started on them. Moral of the story: there will always be the right time for the right item
  6. We will know more when you receive your Type 1 jacket from BoT
  7. Funny, I wrote him because of this website 2-3 weeks ago and he said it can still only be ordered in person. Maybe lost in translation though.
  8. Maybe not the best weather for a blanket lined denim jacket but still: https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/japan/en/auction/yahoo/input/l1141085634/ Size 42, Orizzonti era
  9. nobody is perfect except for that wallet right there!
  10. So... Yamane Art is from Hidehiko Yamane (father) and Yamane Industries is from his son?
  11. 😆 by the way, was it ever revealed which mill Ooe is using?
  12. That IG post from Ruedi really triggered "some" people... https://www.instagram.com/p/C8PwvG9tCXl/?img_index=1
  13. My only hope: as long as people are interested in the original (read vintage Levi's 501s) there will be a certain demand for repro jeans.
  14. Most will tell you to buy from Hoosier. Excellent service and everything will be covered. In terms of size: I wore a W34 in the FW1947 and wear a W36 in Ooe. The FW felt roomier so you will probably be happy with a W32 or a W33 to be safe.
  15. I know this feeling all too well. Inernet wasn't a thing when the Osaka5 released their early stuff. And even if it would have, it would be gone anyway. So you need old magazines. Also many of the old Japanese blogs are deleted making it harder to get info. And I have the feeling the brands weren't as transparent back then. Nowaydays you get much more info about the denim and the design. So once "we" are gone and don't care anymore, who will?
  16. Pure luck, it's the standard inseam on these.
  17. Well, I still wear them so that makes me a wearer of collectible jeans?! I mean of course it's all marketing. All the jeans/brands we discuss here market their products one way or another. I don't really care how Sugar Cane names this line as long as the product is interesting to me. And from all the jeans released over the last couple of years, these releases sparked my interest the most.
  18. If I only knew! What I got from the videos Clutchman TV posted, there were 8 pieces from one single source, which ended up with the collector we see in the vidoes. All in deadstock condition maybe? Surely, the differences would be minor and besides the obvious stitching errors we cannot judge if the denim is really that different.
  19. Damn, where did you find the pics already?! I am more of a no-cinch guy so the 1945 are more intersting to me
  20. Now everything is SOLD! (and the rebuilt will stay in my collection).
  21. Curious as well. That's all the info I saw. I hope SC will release some more official info soon.
  22. Just saw some info about the next "Super Denim Collectibles" I wasn't sure there would be more but it was also said there are 8 possible items. Next ones: 1942 jeans 1945 jeans 1945 jacket
