Sorry, I don't think I took measurements while they were raw. I do remember them shrinking quite a bit. I would nuke them in the washer and dryer and see how much shrink you can get out of them.

You should be able to get some more shrink out of them. I had to sell my first pair of 220A and buy a size up because they were too tight. The size 31 I sold measured around 15.25" after washing.

I've heard Blackship may be a good option. You can declare any value with them and they can also repackage/remove tags. I made an account but have yet to use it. I'll probably give it a little bit of time to see what actually happens - because we know this shit could totally change any minute. -

If you could measure the waist for me that would be great! Thanks

Do the 50s shrink in the waist at all? I can't decide if I should get a 32 or 33. I have a pair of sugar cane 1947s in a 32 that fit perfectly and most of my other jeans are 31 or 32. I'm thinking the 33 might be the right call.

The de minimis exemption is now ending next month for the US. Get your jeans ordered from Japan before August 29th

Bears had a presale for the 30th anniversary jeans a while back but I'm having trouble finding any info on them.

I was trying to order a pair via Instagram a while back, he sent me some size charts then stopped responding to my messages so I just gave up. They look like nice jeans and I'm hoping to get a pair someday.

I'm getting a little annoyed by the sharp rivets on my jeans. Has anyone here cleaned theirs up? If so, what was your method?

Who in the US does the best chainstitch hemming in your opinion? The deeper I dive in this hobby, the more particular I get with the small details. I like the the really small hem width (roughly 1/4 to 3/8 in.) that most Japanese brands have. The roping looks much better with a smaller width from my experience. I recently had my Freewheelers hemmed by Railcar and the hem is almost a 1/2 inch and I don't love it. I've had Blue Owl, Railcar, Science and Kindness, and Self Edge, hem different pairs of mine and the Blue Owl pairs have the best roping. -
I got a pair of the 675xx a little while back. The pattern of the jeans just doesn't fit me right, and the pocket bags are pretty small. It's a shame because they are a nice looking pair of jeans.
