I think the best course of action for those who are on the fence about wearing their CSF gear these days is to just beat the fuck out it
Wore my S406XXX to work a couple days this week
Don’t know what nasty substance turned my sleeves green
I will boost the morale here by sending this jacket to hell

Pocket stitching was busting after a few weeks in mine too which was silly.
It’s annoying but to be expected when cotton thread is used
It can hold up for months or break somewhere in a matter of days
e.g. My 25th 50s pocket stitching on the one pocket I *don’t* use started coming undone the first week. But the pocket I clip my knife into shows no signs of wear

Damn those look good! I’d be very interested in a BOT contest
Theoretically speaking, if you pitched it to him and he seemed open to it, what model would everyone want to wear?
After the TCB contest (and with Signet approaching) I am curious to hear what model everyone would agree on

Nice to see this finally happening. They look awesome and the prizes are great
I’m interested in participating, although I definitely do not need another pair of jeans

Anyone going for the Lee repro tux?
I'm keen to live vicariously only on this one
I have been wearing my TCB catboy with them here and there. I would love the correct model to go with them but *I am going to refrain from spending much more on denim this year (voice cracking)*
As for where I picked these up @JMS are long sold out. I checked google yesterday and saw a few shops with remaining stock available
Thanks @Flash @beautiful_FrEaK
I am pleased with the arse most of all

Quick snaps of my two favorite pairs
Left DD 1943, right 25th 1950
If only I had a nice camera like @Flash I would take some nice denim comparison pics
Currently it’s Duck Digger 43, 46, and 47, Lot 700, Lot 1002, and the 25th 50s. I really truly absolutely don’t need any more jeans…

@MJF9 I can can do a sweat or a flannel underneath it just fine, even cinched to the max as I wear it
I think it fits me as good as a jacket could. That’s why I’ve worn it every single day for the past few months

Perfect! @MJF9
I think my favorite part about washing denim is seeing the layers of creases on top of each other. Yours is a perfect example of that
The stronger creases stay, but a lot of the weaker smaller creases fade and are replaced by new creases
New combs stacked on old combs
