@Alec Leamas I sized up but I could've gone with my normal size and probably would've been happier with the fit
  2. Great price for an awesome jacket! ^ Someone here should pick it up
  3. Drawing a line can be controversial 50 years feels right to me - but then I talk to folks who collect sneakers, outdoor apparel, video games, trading cards - it's tricky There are probably more fitting threads for those jeans though - most of us come here for the real old stuff I ask myself, how many times was OSHA violated in these jeans? Oh? OSHA didn't exist? Okay, they're vintage
  4. That flasher... Lol Levi and 501XX on it? come on you guys
  5. My buddy sent his old jeans to Tender and they're wiiiiiild https://www.instagram.com/p/DA6o7wUvlXV/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  6. Yeah @Dr_Heech, I've got a sweet spot for that denim too I used to find a lot of it, and nearly every pair I've found has had incredible wear - though never in my size My wife and I just sold her pair only weeks ago, and now I'm sad we can't match
  7. Rarely find personals at the thrift Perfect wear, perfect fit Our new kitten is growing a lot
  8. Seems like we've got a few fits for the world tour
  9. 37 hand-me-downs from @shredwin_206 On top of my 47s

I hot wash and machine dry all of my denim with whatever detergent and/or fabric softener my wife buys This jacket is still so new and hasn't really gotten dirty so I've just been washing it in my tub whenever Ive had a particularly sweaty day

DSB 1947 model Just gave this thing it's second hand wash a couple of days ago The denim is so coarse and crispy I'm worried the armpits are going to blow out just from the fabric rubbing. Sweat without a doubt exacerbating this
  12. I'm wearing 1 size up in my 47s and they've settled very nicely
  13. 47 tux WH 2001XX 1947 2000XX DSB (hurts to type that out) FW 601XX 1947 Incredible denim on both

I finally started wearing my S40s jeans from the original run, they're awesome jeans I've never been premeditated about how I plan to wear my jeans, but after looking through the final submissions from the contest I might be washing them a lot. Just throwing them in the hamper with my socks, etc.
  15. @rbeck looks great! Thanks for that
  16. Ship John Holcomb. The denim is a 14oz black/grey from Nihon Menpu These were gifted to me late last year and only ever get worn on date nights. I don't see myself really breaking these in but figured I might as well share them here I was looking for black jeans a few years ago and gave up. These sort of scratched the itch but the cut is slimmer than I'd like. They are really flattering though
  17. I could be in. I've never done a contest and have some home renovation work lined up this year - whatever pair I'm wearing will get some real good wear I'm good with any cut pre 1960, but we should all wear the same thing same cut, same arcs, etc Let's try our best to agree on that - I'm all good for 40s cuts / details a WWII model would be great, and the maker would be stoked... They could sew distracted, with their non dominant hand, watching YouTube
  18. Whose got some worn XX4 denim to show off?
  19. Been rough and toughing some FW 47 the past couple of months Fit is great. Super baby soft abrasion resistant denim Edit: here's a photo of the front
